Idea copypasted from my SPUF thread, I want to read your thoughts about it. Not serious, but any balance idea is welcomed. So, I started this as a set for the Heavy, but then I thought "Why must the Heavy the only one who would get crappy weapons?" and I started thinking more gamebreaking ideas that would turn any of the classes into something you would never want to play with again. But also I remembered that this game is also called Team Fortress 2, so I decided to make every single weapon in this imaginary update have an effect that somehow could help your teammates. -HEAVY: Primary: The Pootis Gun Level 3 Dispensentry/sentryspenser M2: drop a little ammo box, 30 seconds recharge time +25% more ammo carried -20% damage penalty Can't rev up the minigun with M2 Heavy keeps shouting "pootis" while he is firing this gun. So, it would be like a dispenser with a level 2 sentry attached to it, and a couple of handles clearly nailed by the Heavy. Great for giving some extra metal to your team's engineers, or any other teammate that needs ammo, because you will have so much that you won't need it. Secondary: The Daily Dose Level 11 Needle Shotgun On hit (allies and enemies): Increase both your speed and the target's speed (30% more your speed, 40% more your target's speed) +50% more damage dealt Uses syringes instead of pellets (Proyectile weapon instead of hitscan) Only 6 needles per shot Bassically, you are whipping your allies with a giant whip that doesn't deal any damage to them, and allowing them to leave you alone while you are trying to deal with a lightspeed Scout with a tiny shotgun that shoots needles. Or helping them reach you before you get killed. Or helping your enemy reach your teammates and kill them faster. Also availiable for Medic. Melee: The Springroll Level 8 springs On hit: pushes away both teammates and enemies Punching down makes you perform a small jump, like a detonator jump 80% less damage dealt 50% slower firing speed Can't push teammates to pits Be credit to team with a pair of springs tied to your fists! Why should you shred with your minigun the spy that is trying to kill your Medic when you can push him away? Then, push your Medic and help him flee while you kill the spy with your mighty needle shotgun and help him flee too! Then I realized this was the Advanced Weaponizer's Fists of Steel. Set hat: - 1st idea: Teleporter hat. A teleporter. On your head. Set bonus: Engineers in your team can place a special teleporter that teleports your teammates over yor head. Helpful for helping teammates reach high places. WARNING: don't try to teleport yourself over your own head. Need suggestions about what would happen if you did it. - 2nd Idea: Your teammate's severed Head. What shows your love for your own teammates than their cut heads over yours? Availiable in 10 different styles! Set bonus: M2 with the Pootis Gun also deploys a little medkit, only your teammates can use it. -DEMOMAN: Primary: The Way of the Sticky-Jump Level 4 rope If a teammate hits you with his melee weapon, they get attached to you and follow you whenever you go. If they hit you again, they deattach. +25 health 20% slower movement speed when you hare carrying a teammate Teammates can only use their melee weapons when they are attached to you All damage received by your teammates while attached is dealt to you Teammates deattach automatically after 10 seconds So, this would look like a rope tied around the demoman's hip. As I said before, teammates can attack you with their melees, if they do, they get tied yo you and will automatically follow you whenever you go a couple of hammer units behind. They will folow every single movement you do. So, if you stickyjump, they will stickyjump too, without receiving any damage! If you use the Splendid Screen or the Chargin' Targe, they will run behind you at the same speed. But they won't also be able to attack unless they hit you again with their melees, so they will put their lives on your hands. To avoid trolling, teammates can deattach at their will, and also it has a time limit to avoid lazy teammates getting behind you. Finally, if they receive any damage, you will receive it instead, so try to avoid getting in battles while carrying teammates, or use it to save and easily transport the Intel carriers. Secondary: The Paint Baller Level 3 Sticky Launcher Stickies cover with paint nearby enemies and buildings. Enemies coated in paint can be detected through walls for 10 seconds. 50% less stickies deployed 80% less stickies loaded Explosions don't push enemies. Paint can be removed by Medics, dispensers, respawn rooms and water What can be more helpful to your than giving them cheats? Let them see those sentries from the spawn room! Help them avoid that Tommygruvich around that corner! Tell them where is the enemy sniper! Find a spy in the group that is pushing the cart!Or make the whole server call your team's snipers hackers because they kill the enemies when they turn around the corner! To avoid spamming, you only carry 2 stickies loaded, and you can only have 4 stickies deployed at the same time. Yes, you won't be a stickyspammer and you won't probably kill a single enemy, but you will help your allies where is the other team! Melee: The Whale Hunter Level 32 harpoon Each kill with this weapon adds one to a kill counter When you hit a teammate with this weapon, you give him 3 seconds of crits for every kill you have on the kill counter If you kill a Heavy with this weapon, you get 2 kills added to the kill counter 20% slower swinging speed Well, a weapon for demoknights with a golden hearth that want to kritz their teammates. Set hat: a paintball mask with a taxi light and an anchor pin. SHow everybody my lack of ideas at making sets! Set bonus: Stickies damage the user 30% less MEDIC: Primary: (See Heavy, The Daily Dose). Secondary: The Field Medic Level 26 Nuclear Medigun Automatically heals nearby teammates (Healing range slighlty less than the Amputator's Medicating Melody range) +15% increased healing rate Ubercharge refills nearby teammates ammo and overheals them up to the double of their life 5% less healing rate per teammate in the healing area (Up to 50% less healing rate) On death: the Medic's nuclear backpack explodes and deals 200 damage to any teammate in the healing area. This medigun doesn't encourage teamwork, it forces it. A medigun that explodes on player's death forces the Medic's teammates to protect him. Because it's harder for a single player to protect a Medic, the healing rate is slightly increased. But if you are healing the whole team, your healing rate will be decreased to avoid this weapon being too OP. Finally, the übercharge make your teammates want to stay with you. You give them ammo, you instantly double their life and if thei stay with you, the overheal will stay. But beware of the spìes, they could kill the whole team if they reach the Medic's back. Melee: The Machtestraktor Level 5 forceps On hit: fill an "extract" meter. Secondary hit: refill an ally's meter (Rage meter, Mmmph meter, etc) in exchange of your extract meter 20% slower firing speed 20% less range That's it. Hit enemies, fill a meter, refill a teammate's meter. It would require you to get very close to an enemy to hit him, and he would probably kill you before you can escape, but if you succeed, you will be credit to soldiers! Set bonus: on death, the explosion also deals damage equivalent to your ubercharge meter percentage to enemies near you. Set hat: a hazmat mask, to prevent radiation from your own Medigun. I will do the other classes if this thread interests people. Any comments, suggestions, rages, balances, hats? VSH mode.Seriosly, if the Hale is good, you must learn to aim, rocketjump, grenade jump if necessary, or you are fucked. In the server I play, we don't use the rage, we don't need it. Air-straffing is vital, it decides if you land on Saxton'd head or right in front of his fists. Every shot must land, there are other players and usually there aren't many ammo boxes. If you play enough with the DH or LnL, you become a sniper with them. And then you go back to the vanilla grenade launcher and train to get direct hits with it.And meleeing. Sometimes, Hale is too near to reload, and you must melee him if you want to live. Oh, and also, you have lots of fun if the community is nice and you get to know the regulars.

Everybody hates combat spies. They just spam revolver shots hoping for a lucky crit to kill a random enemy, and they die like 80% of the times without doing anything. So here's something that everybody likes: crêpes! They look like three crêpes that can be thrown like shurikens. You throw two of them to your teammate and keep the other one for you to eat it! Your teammate will eat one of the crêpes and decide to keep the other one glued wth siroup to his back, because of yes. And if a enemy spy tries to backstab the teammate with the crêpe, he french pancake will stick to his knife, and he won't be able to do anything until he removes the pancake! But the siroup isn't good enough, and after thirty seconds, the crêpe falls. Secondary: The Magic Trick Level 34 invisibility cloak On use: extend the cloak. Teammates getting near you become invisible On death: allies keep invisible for 5 seconds You can't become invisible Invisible allies can't attack Only one ally at a time If your ally is slower than you, you move at his speed. If you are slower than your ally, he moves at your speed An invisibility cloak. Once you use it, your teammates will see you holding the cloak, and if they get near you, they will become invisible until the invisibility meter runs out. But you can use it if you are disguised too! Your team's Medic is about to die and his patient has been defeated? Run disguised into him, make him invisible, and see how the enemy team comes around the corner and doesn't attack you or your teammate! But what if you are killed? The Medic will take the cloak and, if he is smart enough, will try to escape before the invisibility runs out! Also, you can go with another Spy and get a Heavy + Medic combo into the enemy base... Think about all the fun you can get if your team colaborates! Melee: The explosive gift Level 5 sticky-knife On backstab: the knife sticks to the enemy back. It explodes after 5 seconds, killing the stabbed and dealing 100 damage to any teammate near him. Knives can be removed if the stabbed is hit by his teammates with their melees three times. Backstabs don't deal any damage Loud killer: beeps each second and has explosive kills You are such a good person that you also want the enemy team to improve their teamwork! But they must be fast, or everybody will explode! Set hat: a superhero mask. You are the team's hero! Set bonus: 10% more movespeed and resistance to any damage I will add more classes later

I think I'll buy it with dosh, if my father bought my little brother that Skylanders' physical DLC today for 20 euros (goddamnit, it's just an extra level, a new character and two power ups. Althought the other DLC had Monoculus as final boss), why wouldn't he buy me a preorder that includes the first game for 19 euros? Also, downloaded the Torchlight demo, I still haven't figured out how to fish. Is better to dual wield two wands and spam fire to the enemies or wield a high phisical damage staff and kick asses? It has been a long time since I don't play a decent Diablo-like game. I should have played Fate when I could.

If you have another worthless hat, craft the sack with it. That's how I got a hatless Scout, which I crafted and got a Sthetoscope.

Merasmus, angered by his roomate, stole all the confirmed soldier updates. The Soldier asked his friends to help him recover his updates, but some of them, like the Spy, said "nope" and positioned themselves at Merasmus' side. Finally, the Soldier/Pyro/Engi thought that it would be a good idea to ask for help in the mythological Steam (Powered) Users' Forums. But there nobody cared about it, because they sidn't have previous posts, any hours of TF2 played (since they are the played characters they can't play), and the most important thing: they didn't have any reputation. Thus the game begins, you must get rep so people start caring about the merc's problems. Trolls sent by Merasmus will try to stop your quest. Once you have enough rep and you have defeated the subforum boss, you will get a hint, telling you to ask in another subforum. You get rep defeating trolls, who get stronger and better in each subforum you visit.During your way through the SPUF server and many others, where you will be attacked by the forum trolls and you will get rep defeating them, you will discover misteries, secret organizations known by everybody, you will find traders that can sell you upgrades if you +rep them, but your rep will decrease for being a n00b not playing vanilla. Take whatever you want from it.
