The stupid is strong with some Pokemon Go players. I just keep it on-hand and wait for it to buzz when there's a 'Mon that pops up, I don't actually go out wandering like a lot of people do. Plus, the only times I really get out of the house is for errands or going over to a friend's place, so that kinda hurts my ability to really play.

I stopped paying attention to them to preserve what's left of my sanity.

Found some gyms in the areas we go to often, and visited a buncha Pokestops. Am Team Blue, which appears to have been a mistake, as all the gyms in the areas I frequent are owned by either Red or Yellow. RIP Me. The Jehova's Witness center that's just up the street from my neighborhood is a Gym. Got myself my first egg, though, 10km, gonna be a pain in the ass to get that one hatched. Caught like 7 junk 'Mons, and managed to catch me a 218 Fearow while in the car (I was a passenger, not a derp to drive and Go). I found a Pokestop that had pink petals falling from it, does that mean someone there used a Lure there? Couldn't stop at it because we had to get home, sadly, but I was really fucking confused when I saw it.

I only caught a Tangela and a Nidoran today because the servers were down pretty much all day.

A Pidgey was sitting on my toilet.

I've got a Pokespot near me, but no gym. And I had that problem with the first name I tried, I was kinda surprised, since it's not an entirely common name on phone games, but I got another name to work.

My middle mouse button is dying, blargh. At least the rest of the mouse still works fine, will probably just have to rebind game stuff.

Grabbed Grey Goo 'cause I had some Steam funds to spare and it cheapened it enough to put the rest on the card. On a side note, I got the sudden urge to throw down on some Mario Party, oddly enough. Popped in Mario Party 6, and saw that my last save date on my main file was from '06. Fucking hell, has it really been over a decade already?

I've been eyeing War for the Overworld, but I haven't really decided yet. I might just wait until I get a better computer. And I'm finding it strange that nothing is jumping out at me as a "MUST HAVE NOW" on my Wishlist. This Summer Seal seems a little lackluster this year.

I'm not sure if I'll be free on Monday, I think we have plans, but I don't usually get kept up-to-date on everything.

I'd totally be down for board/card game shenanigans. As long as someone else could host the server, I have a couple games I'd be willing to teach. I already played some Ascension with 'Splosion and Cube, and every now and then 'Splosion and I throw down on some MTG with some pre-builts he made.

It's tempting to just ask for money for my birthday so I can get Overwatch. Been really wanting to play, but lack of funds is a bitch.

Even if the EU is a sinking ship (Which I don't know if that's really true or not), this situation isn't like popping a life vest or raft, it's like blowing a hole in the side of the ship. The ship's sinking even faster, you're still going down, you and a buddy in your group decide to jump off, and you just brought two other unwilling participants with you. Just about every person my family knows that's in the UK or is from the UK all think this was a stupid decision and are pissed about it.

Only within 5 years? I don't think Scotland is going to wait 5 hours, much less 5 whole years. I haven't seen anything on what Ireland may be doing, but it's also possible for it to unify, at the very least leave the UK.

Blargh, it's hot enough outside that our A/C unit is struggling to keep the house cool. I hope it's not kicking the bucket, those things are fucking expensive to replace.

I'd be with you on that, Kae, but I got a good friend in Texas that I'd like to have leave the state before that shitshow has a chance of happening.

If Texas somehow manages to secede, it's gonna fail so hard that it'll have to either re-join the US, or get absorbed back into Mexico. Either way, it won't survive as its own nation.
