Like Rynjin said, we don't really know if that would happen or not, nobody's done it yet. I'm not going to deny that the opposing party would want to make sure whoever replaces Scalia aligns as close as possible with their political views, but to go about shutting down our highest court of law for almost a year? Had the Republicans and Conservatives just kept their mouths shut and didn't tell the world they were going to stall, they could have gone some time before people started calling bullshit, but we knew their intent before Scalia's body was cold. But now, if they go through with this - and we have no reason to believe they're just bluffing - they will cripple our justice system, and also potentially open themselves up to lawsuits from those impacted by the Supreme Court shutting down.

It's the whole "family comes first" thing. It won't matter what Rammite does in this case if it doesn't involve family. It's likely the only way they'd accept him giving it to a friend would be after he's asked all available family members and they all say they didn't want it.

I have a feeling that the Democratic National Convention is going to try and force Hillary to be the nominee, even if the votes would put Sanders as nominee. Just by going off of raw numbers, Sanders currently has 44 delegates, while Hillary has 394, Sanders has a couple superdelegates on his side, while Hillary's 394 is mostly made up of these superdelegates. It could be entirely possible that Sanders could technically win the primary election by earning a majority of the delegates determined by voting, but still lose the Democratic nomination if, if Hillary gets most of the party's unelected unpledged delegates. Effectively, these superdelegates could put Hillary as the nominee even if We The People vote for Sanders, effectively canceling out our decision. The NPR reported in November that Hillary had a 45-1 superdelegate advantage, putting her at 15% of the delegates needed to secure the nomination, before any voting even started.

The Republicans in Congress are already saying they're gonna block any of Obama's attempts to replace Scalia, and are saying that "The next president should decide" This is a major major problem. For those who don't live in the US, the number of Supreme Court Justices has always been an odd number, this is to prevent deadlocks where it's a complete split between supporting and opposing Justices. To not appoint a new Supreme Court Justice would effectively put all current Supreme Court cases/reviews on hold until this election cycle finishes, a whopping 11 months where the Supreme Court can't do anything. This, however, is pretty typical of Republican politicians. If they can't get what they want, then they'll hold the entire system hostage until someone gives in, like when our government shut down for about a week or so.

If Trump wins, I'd seriously consider moving out of the country. I mean, I'm already like "I want out of here" because I'm tired of US politics, that isn't to say that other nations don't have their own problems, but the problems here have gotten way out of hand.

Going to finally see Force Awakens at Movie Tavern tomorrow. Not really a big Star Wars fan, but I will gladly take a free Movie Tavern visit with paid dinner. Yeah, I've already beaten Legend Mode and done a few Hard missions, got all the Heart Containers and Pieces from Legend Mode, but really I just need to work on leveling my warriors. So far my favorite is Shiek, but I also love Zelda with the Baton, and Link with the Magic Rod. I still need to unlock Zant and Agitha, but I have access to at least half of the Adventure map.

Been playing the hell out of Hyrule Warriors and god damn the Batons for Zelda are fun. Don't have any of the DLC for it, though.

Included with some of the fighters is new stages, for example, Bayonetta comes with the Umbran Clock Tower, as well as character trophies and new songs. Still kinda pricey, but it's at least not just the fighters you're getting.

Fuck's sake, I wish people would learn what the fuck a Trademark is actually FOR. Trademarks are words or images used to distinguish WHERE the goods came from, so they could TM "FineBros" or whatever imagery they use as part of their logo (Like Apple's Apple, or the Golden Arches for McDonalds) This is the same bloody problem that people had with King.com getting a TM on the word "Saga" and later trying to get "Candy" TM'd, neither word distinguishes WHERE the product/goods came from. TMing "King.com" or their crown logo would have been an acceptable TM, but not just the words "Saga" or "Candy". I have to wonder just how the fuck they managed to secure that TM from the registration office. ALTHOUGH, funnily enough, the FineBros may have fucked themselves over by announcing their licensing deal and TM acquisition this early. When a TM is approved, the public has 30 days to file an opposition, and apparently there is a law office that is working pro bono with a bunch of streamers and content creators in opposition to this TM. Had they stayed quiet on this for the 30 day period, or even for a good majority of it, they'd have almost certainly acquired the TM no issue, but as it stands now, people have a good window of opportunity to fight this.

That's even if you have a Driver's Ed class available during school, which I never had. Both here in Georgia and back in Florida, my high schools didn't offer a Driver's Ed class. Guess who doesn't know a fuckin' thing about driving at 22 years old? THIS GUY~ I mean, I know what little I observe from my mother when she drives, but that's pretty much it.

This entire argument pretty much boils down to "It's a stupid feature that's completely unnecessary and does nothing to further the plot or add any real value to the game, but god dammit is it still kinda funny" I'm only disappointed it's being removed because I wanted to laugh at the ridiculousness while actually experiencing it, not watching the ridiculousness. The newer games have put a lot more emphasis on character relationships, but its general premise hasn't changed. Two warring nations, you take the side of the "Good guys" and fight the bad guys but also a plot is revealed that puts the entire world at risk, so not only do you win the war, but you also save the world. Again.
