TIAM IV: Guydiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Cockmongler

I really just want to use Tabletop Sim for something, it's got this massive catalog of games, and it's been sitting in my Steam Library so neglected and THERE ARE SO MANY GAMES WE SHOULD PLAY AUGH

It does, but I don't generally play online, I mostly play against the AI in varying numbers.

You will need to tell me if Dominion is any good. If you're looking for a really simple game to play, yet something that still isn't something like a kiddie game, go for Machi Koro. The whole deal is that each player is building their city, and to do so, they roll the dice, see what happens, and then build something. There's a module of it on Tabletop Sim if you want to dick around with it. I managed to grab Ascension on Tabletop Simulator, and I can seriously recommend that game, even a hyperactive 8 year old could play it and emerge the winner. There are a few games I've gotten where the whole thing doesn't load properly, I might need to try re-downloading them or finding better ones. The games I've managed to find are Legendary Encounters: Predator, Ascension, Machi Koro, Cthulhu Fluxx, Epic Spell Wars, and Star Realms. But we should totally throw down for a Tabletop Sim game afternoon or someshit.

GET ASCENSION IT IS VERI GUD Now I wonder if there's an Ascension thing on Tabletop Simulator. I really want to play against other people ;n; EDIT: Looking through the Workshop and I see that there's Star Realms for Tabletop Sim! Also Machi Kori, which is really easy to play. We need to set up a Tabletop Sim board game day or something.

I'm just surprised that nothing has happened in Georgia yet. At least, nothing aside from that stupid Confederate Flag Dickwaving that went on a few months ago where one of the trucks involved got into an accident while parading around, which was hilarious. EDIT: Probably should clarify, it was one of the trucks that was taking part in the flag dickwaving that got into a minor accident, nothing major.

I find it kinda sad that I'm just getting used to hearing about the next shooting or high-profile death. The first mass shootings were shocking, but now I sit here thinking "Eh, there'll be another one within a week or two."

I imagine that all of our rooms are unholy messes that only each individual can comprehend.

Here we see the elusive Hobo Corv in its natural habitat. Oh, he's gone to the window, opened the blinds... and is utterly terrified at what he's seen. He has hibernated for too long, and will be completely unable to find a mate.

If you do end up leaving, don't come to the US, we've got our own massive clusterfuck of problems going on right now that'll make you want to go back. Go to Canada, or fricken' Mexico, just stay away from the US.

To me, that sounds like too fucking long. What are they supposed to do for those 11 months? If they're refugees from war, like what we have now, they have absolutely nothing, and for almost a year we're going to have them sit on nothing until they finally hear back if they can start to rebuild their lives?

How much is "some more", though? Too little and it's not doing much, too much, and nothing gets through until after 3 years or so of navigating said red tape.

In response, US Republican presidential candidate John Kasich has come up with a plan to beat ISIS! It involves trace amounts of propaganda, and violating our country's constitution. The plan? To create a new government agency to promote "Judeo-Christian" beliefs to four regions. Those regions? China, Russia, Iran, and the Middle East. Meanwhile, US Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush thinks that we should primarily focus our aid efforts on just the Christian portion of refugees. Ain't it great to be an American? /s

Tell them that you've made up your mind and are sticking with it, and that if all they're going to do is try and push you into a place you don't want to be in, that they can just stuff it.

    New Forum Bug List

I thought the plain text editor was removed with the forum upgrade. As far as I know, since the upgrade, we've never had the plain text editor, or at least, nobody's known how the fuck to use it if it's still there.

    attacks in Paris

Paris has closed its borders and posted military units throughout the entire country for security. Taxi drivers have turned off their meters and are giving people free rides, and people are ushering others into their own homes to keep them off the streets. Just as I'd thought of before, Muslim is the new Jew, many people blame everything on the Muslims, plenty of people are already harping on about "I thought Islam was a PEACEFUL religion!" and whatnot, I can only shake my head in disgust. Unfortunately, regardless of any available facts and information, the only thing I can see is a massive anti-immigration, anti-refugee, anti-Muslim shitstorm brewing on the horizon. In a thread on The Escapist about the attack, one poster is visiting family, that same family immediately blamed the refugees shortly after the news hit. Aside from grieving for those immediately impacted by this, I can't help but wonder (and worry) about what's going to happen as a result of all this.
