My mother and her fiance both have the 3DSXL, I got a regular 3DS. I do like how much more comfortable it is to use the XL at times, but dammit, I'm gonna have to get the new 3DS so I can still keep up with the games coming out. =/

My school was pretty much the same way. Because the best way to make sure kids get to class on time is to make them miss the first ten minutes dealing with bullshit bureaucracy if they're late.

If any of the articles is to be believed, then the kid stated he would make his friend "disappear". This could be interpreted in a number of ways, most commonly either to 1) Make invisible, or 2) Used as a term for killing or otherwise removing someone from an area. School systems in the US are notorious for taking the latter option as the most obvious explanation, and therefore are justifying the suspension because the kid was "making a threat". This is also Texas we're talking about. The state that's tried many times to re-write our history textbooks, and trying their damnedest to get Creationism taught in schools.

I don't really see how you can even call this an issue where "both parties are at fault", Raz. The school is being blatantly stupid over things aren't even breaking any rules. Called another student black? OH NO SUSPENSION Brought a book that contained a picture of a pregnant woman? OH NO SUSPENSION Said he'd make his friend "disappear" with MAJYKS? OH NO SUSPENSION This is the fault of an over-reactive school system which hovers over everyone's shoulders like an overbearing parent and freaking out at every teensy little thing.

Oh yeah, definitely. With the hassle I had to go through for a legitimate install it took me days to be able to play TS3 because their own fucking launcher couldn't patch the game properly. So after trying to patch through the launcher twice (Took an entire day), then download the patch through Chrome (Which took me about 12 hours because shitty internet and it was a 1.6Gig file) twice because the download shat itself after some time, I refuse to pay for shit like that anymore. Maybe I'll try and snag it again (Last time I tried, the UI was beyond fucked so I just uninstalled and deleted the files) if I really feel like it, but otherwise I'm not particularly in much of a drive to get any new Sims content. Maybe if TS4 went on stupid sale (Never going to happen), I'd consider getting it, but that's a big maybe. Although, quite frankly, since I already own all of TS2, it might just be better to use that anyway.

I could probably do one of these. I have the starter pack on Origin, and it has like one expansion pack and one Stuff pack.

Sweet fucking christ, the way Star Realms can have a game swing in your favor or against you is just amazing at times. You'll either hit this horrible stride of draws and get your ass handed to you, or you'll get awesome draws and epic purchases and combos. Like this last game I played, got the Imperial Frigate (4 Attack, enemy discards 1 card from their hand. Play another Imperial card to get +2 Attack) and Imperial Flagship (6 Attack, Draw a card. Play another Imperial Card to make the enemy discard 1 card from their hand) and some other stuff. Played those two in combination, drew another Imperial Frigate thanks to the Flagship, dealt 18 Damage total, and made them discard 3/5 cards from their hand.
