I only watched the final two seasons, though there was heavy repeating of the events that started the whole thing throughout that, but I just don't have much recollection of it all to actually debate anything. Considering all the weird shit that went down, all I can say is because LSD and Fringe.

I watched the finale of Fringe, but it's been so long that I can't really hold a discussion on it, other than my love for Walter's various oddities. Especially black umbrella.

I think the "Discount" part is because in Overwatch it's people as the players playing Musical Boop Soccer, and Rocket League is FLIPPY CAR SOCCER with CARS.

I love the Slosher, the only problem is getting a tired trigger finger since you can't just hold the trigger to keep sloshin'.

Honestly, I would totally throw down the cash for it if it had a business model like Guild Wars, pay once, play as long as the servers are up. I have no problem with paying for the game, the problem runs down to the fact that my family is a three-person, single income family, and I'm not the only one who wants to play FFXIV. I have played a little of the free trial that's out, and I do like it (unfortunately, F2P people can't create or join parties :T ) but that runs into $30/month for the two of us to play. Maybe once I get some income of my own, I wouldn't be put off by the subscription, but as it is now, I just can't justify that expense.

Well, at least it's not like TERA's leveling system, which is an utter joke. If you haven't played through the main storyline, then it's generally advised to play through it once, but otherwise, you do the various Vanguard Requests (which don't need an NPC to start or complete) and once you hit 20 you just use the Instance Matching system to run through the same dungeons and hit the level cap in about 2-3 days of serious play. The only time it slows down is when you're going from 60-65. It goes by even faster if you can get Elite status through temporary vouchers or if you just buy it, as that doubles all experience you gain, including from quests, I believe. Then you grind all the 65 dungeons for progressively better gear, and if you're not into PVP (like me), there's not much else for you once you've done all the quests and run each dungeon a couple times and played with the classes you want. Although, it could be worse, I remember back when I used to play Fly For Fun and at one point it just got so fucking tedious to level, if you're lucky enough to keep playing to reach your 2nd class at level 60, experience gain grinds to a damn near standstill, even if you're running with an AoE build, and it even had an "ascension" once you hit level 120 that kicks you all the way back down to level 60, but gives you a few new skills and a fancy letter next to your name. I wish I could play FFXIV, but I need a computer upgrade before I keep going with the Free-to-Play-until-level-20 part, and even then I really just can't justify paying subscriptions. Kinda wish it would go the same route that Guild Wars 2 went, of pay once play forever, and pay only for the most recent content. Speaking of which, I probably should think about trying Guild Wars 2 again in the near future.

SplatoONE is still active enough I had no problems finding games to play last night, surprisingly, but I ended up playing Moray Towers 5 times in a row. I really wish more of the Switch's lineup would come out already so I have enough things I want to justify the purchase. So far my wants are: SplaTWOon, Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, Breath of the Wild (Yes, I know I can get it on Weeyoo), and whatever the main series Pokemon game is that's going to be made. ARMS is a big maybe. Still 5 definitive "Do want"s and 2 of them don't even have release dates yet, not enough reason to nab the Switch yet.

I may have to bring up the subject of potentially returning Minerva to the rescue.

I... wow. I wish I had this kind of creativity, 'cause I've got all this fuckin' time, and nothing to really show for it. Also either I'm tired or I'm just stupid, but why the HoTS stuff.

I can no longer claim to be Florida Man, as I'm now in Georgia, totally want to move back though, Georgia kinda blows goats.

This is why - back in Florida when we were living with my mother's at-the-time-boyfriend - mom's ex had built his own rig. Welded 6 metal tubes to a larger, flat piece of metal, put 2 spikes on the underside so you could just drop it on the lawn and have it secure itself. Didn't worry about that thing blowing up, and it made a nice Ting! sound whenever we fired something off. I actually miss that.

I might get back into Warframe when I get a better computer, I have some lag and it makes playing hell.
