Thanks to this shitass house, my room has become its own environmental bubble, and whenever I set foot out of my room my sinuses decide to turn the faucet on and hammer away at the sneeze button. It decides to ease up once I've spent enough time outside my bubble, but since I've managed to catch a cold it's decided to not give up. This meant I was sneezing my way through every aisle in Wal-Mart today, because I had to get food for the week.

So, apparently Beyond Good and Evil 2 hasn't even really begun development yet.

It boils down to pure greed and a lack of regulations on pricing for medicines. Companies are allowed to charge as much as they want for their products. Remember when Martin Shkreli jacked up the price of Daraprim from $13.50 per pill to $750 per pill? The only thing that made him back off on the pricing was the sheer amount of outrage, but what he did was perfectly legal and within his power to do. Medicare doesn't have the power to negotiate drug prices and there are currently no methods our government can use to control prices. The US' healthcare system is just another business, whether it's manufacturing drugs or providing insurance.

The quickest thing I can find shows that it's a prescription item only, and the price varies wildly from where you get it. From NorthWest Pharmacy, you can buy a single 100mcg Ventolin Inhaler for $18.39, or 3 for $37.69, and that's just the "generic alternative" listing. It'll run you between $23-$60 if you're specifically going for the Ventolin, depending on quantity purchased and size, GoodRX shows listings for an 8g or 18g inhaler. In other words, they ain't cheap.

I keep thinking about picking up an expansion or two for Sims 3, since I only own the Night Life one, but have never gotten around to it. But the one thing I hated before, and still hate, is the stupid paid user content thing. I haven't looked for any mods, so the only two maps I have available to me is the one that came with the base game, and the one that was in the Night Life expansion. Aside from that, the staggering stubbornness of the AI to have a Sim constantly want to do one thing and one thing only, even if it meant neglecting their Needs still astounds me. "Alright, get this Sim to do this anndd-- no, you can't watch TV, you need to do this instead - and then that Sim needs to-- fucking dammit, I told you to stop it with the fucking TV! - Okay, have these Sims do this-- why are you bitching at me about needing to piss?! You're a fucking adult, use the bathroom on your own! - then queue up these actions-- WHY DID YOU NEGLECT YOUR HUNGER UNTIL IT WAS THIS BAD FOR FUCK'S SAKE YOU'RE GOING IN THE POOL AND I'M DELETING THE LADDERS."

I am disappoint that I can't subscribe to Humble Monthly, 'cause I really want Stellaris. I kinda want Goat Simulator GOATY, but my computer can't even run some of the base game because 32-bit OS, so meh.

I do like the other map objectives that make things interesting. Hanamura was just added and it has invincible cores that you can only damage by escorting payloads to their destination, so now you can have two Blizzard games where nobody's on the fucking payload. They gave me 1,100 Gems, so I bought 12 loot boxes with the remaining 1k, ended up getting Genji from one of them, so that's nice. But I was annoyed with the addition of unlockable voice lines, so the greater majority of your box pulls are voice lines, but since I was getting a whole bunch of other shit I wouldn't have obtained through the previous model, I couldn't complain too much.

The Oni Genji and Officer D.Va skins will be added to the Overwatch loot boxes "sometime in the future". So you'll still have a chance at getting it if you don't want to play Heroes of the Storm. Though HotS just released 2.0 and it's a lot better than their old model. Introduced loot boxes, but now you have a chance at getting everything in the game without dropping a single penny. Used to be that everything cosmetic was cash only, and the only way to get new Heroes was to get enough gold to unlock them, or buy them outright. You get a loot box every time your player level goes up, which is every time you level up a Hero, every 5 player levels gets you an Epic loot box, and every 25 gives you a Legendary loot box, duplicate items are converted into Shards which is used to buy mounts, which are purely cosmetic. It's more RNG boxes, but at least F2P players can actually get things now, so it's not terrible.
