I've thrown a friend request your way, I can pretty much play whenever the bloody hell I please, so I'm pretty available for some experience runs if you or anyone else wants. Just throw me a friend request.EDIT: Also, if you want to change any of the keybindings, then you'll have to start up the game, but when you get the pop up that has the "Play" "Configure" and "Exit" buttons, you'll need to go into the Configure part, then hit Save when you've made your changes, then you can launch from the Configure tool.

You get experience even for kills I make or my defenses make. You could literally stand there and do nothing and in 1 Survival run be level 70 or so.
-
Pushing G just simply sets your status to "Ready" from wherever you are, or if you're playing solo it begins the next Combat Phase.
-
I run it solo, and at one point I could simply stand near a crystal and just hit G when it gets to the Build Phase.
-
That's pretty easy to do. I can run a map on insane survival all the way to wave 25. Not bad experience.

Eh, not really. Eventually you'll want to move to a Squire/Countess if you plan on doing Nightmare difficulty, but Apprentice can do well for Easy-Insane.EV is a support Hero who can dish out some epic damage with her Proton Charge Blast, not as squishy as the Huntress or Apprentice. But her defenses are mainly just for support, like Auras and Traps.Dammit, we need go get a game going sooner or later. >=/

I think I just heard Guy cream his pants from across the US. -
I know they do, but in order to maximize the amount of time that a monster spends through a single Proton Beam it'd be best to place it diagonally, and once you start getting to the larger maps, without anti-air support from Summoner, Apprentice, or Squire defenses you're kinda boned, and not in the fun way.
-
Eh, not really. Don't get me wrong, EV is an awesome Hero, her defenses are pretty damn cool, but aside from her walls and buff beams, they're all pretty situational. In order for Proton Beams to be most effective, you'd need to place it diagonally so a monster doesn't just put their heel of the foot that's already past the beam on it and march on, or a small pathway you can place it down the center so they travel along the length of the beam. Proton Beams are good for softening things up for your towers, but on Nightmare you'd be better off spending the DU elsewhere. Shock Beams are still iffy in terms of their reset time and activation time, some monsters are out of the blast area by the time it actually releases the charge, and then it'd only deal damage to anything who happens to wander into it, as well as it having charges like a trap, it needs to be babysat more than a Proton Beam does.

Series EV has the best walls, and the Buff Beams are a godsend.

I'm almost done typing everything up *-*I'll edit this post with the link once I'm done. Beware, it's about 6-7 pages long >.>;EDIT: Dungeon Defender Hero and Defense BasicsI've still gotta add one thing, but that covers each Hero, their abilities, and defenses.EDIT2: Okay, done adding things. Sorry whoever was reading while I was having an OCD moment with all the spacing. >.>;

The game does allow you to swap Heroes out during Build Phase, so really, play what you think will be the most interesting. I'm composing a Google Doc on the basics of each of the Heroes and their defenses and abilities, I'll post the link here when I'm done.

Other than Saints Row The Third (Which I sadly can't get.) I've got nothing of real interest I want, so I'll use my good deed for the month to help you save money.

I prefer Scottish Barbarian. If you're going for an active builder then using a male character is fine.I still need people to play this with though. D:

As long as I get a kidney I'll be happy.

I've played through co-op three times, but the newer co-op thing I've only played twice, and it still gets me confused.

At least you have money. ¬¬

Nope, not here anyway.
-
Honestly I just want to do something.I'm bored shitless and I've played just about most of my games to death.

I'm gonna see if I can snag Garry's Mod at the very least. -Sigh-

Ugh, this is torture. So many good deals, no money to buy anything. :headdesk:

Oh, just as a small tip.The gender your Hero is does actually have some small effect on stats. With exception to the New Heroes DLC and Series EV, male and female Heroes play the same for the most part.Heroes from the New Heroes DLC actually have different skills than the original 4.But in general, male Heroes have more HP and run slower than females, and females run faster but have less HP than males. There are "skins" for the Barbarian, Series EV, and the Summoner for their opposite gender, Series EV technically has 2 "male" skins, because you can unlock a regular male skin that has nothing special, or another one that has a jetpack. All of these skins must be unlocked, however.
