The fact that when I'd buy a game with on-disk DLC, and not have access to it unless I purchased an unlock code for it annoys me a bit. Don't give it to me when I buy a copy of the game if you didn't want to have it be an essential part of the core game in the first place, and certainly don't force me to fork over more cash to access something I've technically already bought. I find the comment from Pachter about technically being able to crack the DLC, since it's on the disk, and you now own the disk. A few users posted a good point about how even Steam does this as well. I'd attempted to make a point about what the second quote contains, moreso on this exact post that I couldn't find, after a few minutes of searching I found it, this says what I was trying to convey a lot more concisely than what I had managed to throw together. So, subSPUF, what are your opinions about Day-1 DLC and On-Disk DLC?
