There are some really good horde EV training locations in ORAS. So I just caught the regi trio - for bizarre, bizarre reasons Regice has to have a nickname to unlock Gigas in the postgame. I named it Reggie Ice. It's gentle nature. Nearly solo'd Norman, downed half of Winona's team, and earlier tonight had the MVP moment of the game so far- Sturdy tanking an Origin Pulse from Primal Kyogre (he was the last one still alive at this point- thing hits like a truck). Ultra ball caught it next turn. Skarmory is the bro-est of bros.

Personally, I liked Sayaka. I felt like she had a ton of potential, but because she isn't the main character, everything bad from episodes 5-8 happened to her. She's effectively the protagonist for those four episodes (five if you include episode 4) and in those four episodes she just gets crapped on by everything. Basically she's got the determinator and idealist character of a shonen/normal magical girl show... in an Urobuchi story.
