oh my god bravely default There's a bit where one of the female characters enters a beauty contest because plot reasons, and you have to go to the pervy old guy tailor from earlier for an outfit Old guy's suggestion: "The forbidden bravo bikini." Girl who's not wearing it upon seeing it: "That's a bit... ambitious? Illegal?" Girl who would be wearing it: "Um... are you certain this is clothing?" Her voice is getting squeakier every line and it's hilarious. Sadly it gets vetoed. edit: Oh wow, ranger is a good class. They have a really damn good combo: Their class tree involves doing extra damage to monsters of X family (beast, bug, plant, and more as you level up) The bow's special attack is enabled by doing said extra damage 5 times. It's wonderful. Double edit: red mage holy crap

Bravely Default: Ringabel is amazing and hilarious. Especially when he interacts with Edea. A paraphrasing of a recent conversation: "And what of the women in [town]?" "Stop. Just... stop." Or when they meet a pervy old guy: "It's a geriatric Ringabel."

After rewatching the first episode of Evangelion, all I can think of is this snippet from Nobody Dies (basically a fic where, among other things, Shinji's mom didn't die in the backstory)
