It was asked in the latest AMA, but I feel like stealing its thunder (also we'd have lost 30-plus answers since none of us got asked that) and modding it slightly. I apologize for none of those tags. So yeah, the five games you consider must-plays for anyone. Me, in no real order: 1. Dragon Quest 8. Absolute top-notch JRPG and my all-time favorite video game. 2. A Madden game. Even if you don't care much for sports, there's something very fun about stomping someone with the shit-tier NFL team of that year. (It's like kicking someone's ass with Pichu in Melee, basically) 3: Smash Bros, for the same reason as the above. 4. A pokemon game because it had to be said. 5. The original Super Mario Bros. If you can't commiserate with someone over 8-8, you are not a human being.

Speaking of, now that the dub's been out, I feel like doing some commentary on it: The good: Honestly, most of the VAs are solid. Eren's does rage damn well, for one. The not-as-good: Pronunciation has had me twitching at points. Some highlights: Mikasa is pronounced "MEE-kuh-saa," Wall Maria is pronounced "MAH-ria," and Reiner's name is pronounced "RY-na." Then there's a semispoilery one (if you're up to date on Toonami's run it's past that, but hey) As for questions, I'm up to date on the manga (which is at chapter 58 now- the anime's first run of 25 episodes got through chapter 33 or so), so I could try to answer stuff that's less spoilery.
