That's not entirely true though. Sailing and the triforce quest are often criticized for being boring and grindy (I completely disagree btw and am actually kind of annoyed they cut that stuff short in the remake)

Don't get me wrong though, they're still a really fun group to play with, but sometimes I wish they'd make their decks a little bit more serious As for the "no conceding" rule, I'd personally love that but I doubt it'd be fun for the rest playing against someone with 40 cards in hand of which one is a Forbid with Omniscience on the field and 6 Rune-Scarred Demons

Sometimes it's a bit too casual though - one player keeps crying about my Sepulchral Primordial being overpowered, tucking is banned (even though one of them plays Zegana), and one guy plays a terrible Trostani token deck that folds after a single boardwipe, complains his deck is bad, and then refuses to improve it. Most games boil down to me beating the shit out of our Ghave player to prevent him from going infinite for the third Goddamn time this game, occasionally countering Zegana, and then dropping a card advantage bomb big enough to make everyone concede.

well my playergroup is super slow so I can easily get away with playing Damia and Teysa. Plus, I tend to build decks that do not revolve around the general but just like her as a nice little plus; Damia is just another way for card advantage, and Teysa is a very good pillow fort card while I extort 3 or 4 times a turn Also, my playergroup tends to go HUGE with the creatures. We've had boardstates so crazy that my Omniscience + Praetor's Counsel combo was not enough to end the game immediately

I've given up on buying boosters and am just buying singles. I hadn't put any money in mtg for over a month so last week I put 100 bucks into improving my casual and competitive decks. Sadly, fetchlands are at an all-time high and I just can't bring myself to spend 50 freaking bucks on a single card. Also I'm gonna build an EDH deck around the new Teysa. It's super cheap, putting in every extort card just for the extort and then pillowfort away

For animes I like: I loved Gurren Lagann, currently enjoying Kill la Kill quite a bit. My favorite anime ever is Baccano! mostly because of how geniously the final episode wraps the whole thing together Anime stuff I don't like: the common lolsorandumb anime humor makes me cringe (I really don't like Mako because of this). Anime made just for the fanservice and/or "waifubait" I dislike as well, I could just as well watch porn if I'm gonna watch that

Seras to me always felt like they wrote Hellsing, and right before submitting the script someone went "dude this is a sausagefest where are the tits" and they added her. Hopefully the episodes I haven't watched yet change that

Hellsing ultimate is baller, it's basically DBZ written by Satan. Good to know it finally finished, I watched it about a year ago when there were like 2 or 3 episodes missing I never liked Seras much though
