It is baffling how few people know of the existance of the mute button

manabase is very important. You want something similar like 10 cards that cost one mana, then 8 that cost two, then 6 that cost three, andsoforth. It doesn't have to be super precise but you get the general idea. You want a decent amount of lands in your deck, most beginners start off with too few. For a good ground rule, search what the most expensive to cast card in your deck costs, then add 18 to that. That's how many lands you should have. After a game or five you can add or remove lands if you feel like you don't draw then enough or too much. Make sure you have enough removal, i.e. cards that can kill cards your opponent plays. If you're playing white you're in luck because Oblivion Ring is always great And finally, play a lot of games so you learn how the stack works, it can get pretty complicated.

what are the theros promos exactly? I probably won't go to the prerelease though, it's too expensive for me atm. I'm going to draft with four friends though, three packs per person, which I'm really looking forward to

pokemon X/Y hype is slowly pushing me over the edge to buy a 2DS
-
it originated as that yeah but most people here have moved from tf2 to doter
-
so is this like hipster newgrounds or- OHMYGOSHTHEGIRAFFEKISSINGGAMEISTHECUTEST
-
generally this thread actually contains tf2 talk but this entire forum goes offtopic on the drop of a hat which is what makes me like it so much

You can feed me your fairytales all day long but in this moment I am euphoric
-
That's the popular belief, yeah, and what makes sense physics-wise. However it works the other way around as Rammite said, with the particles keeping your momentum making them go further when going forward. Just do not acknowledge its existance

your religion is against my religion

don't ever talk about Tribes Ascend rammite the wound is still too fresh

Shots from disguise do the same damage as the Revolver, undisguised to 20% more and it's very possible to twoshot a Scout, especially since the Spy usually has the surprise factor. It's actually pretty easy to defeat a Soldier 1 on 1, as you can get two shots in before they even have time to properly react, and can see their health to pick off weakened characters.
-
also make threads way too few people on here actually make threads
-
yeah the new land cycle is absolute shite at rare they'll probably still go for about 5 bucks seeing as this is still the best doubleland bar shocks in standard right now
-
man people are outrageously pissed about this pokemon bank thing
-
contrary to popular belief, walking forward with the flamer makes it longer, and backpedaling makes it shorter
-
shiiieeeeeeet these are good also new planeswalker ultimate is kinda shite but his +2 and -x are murderous for control

I've officially escaped from the cookies

The problem with the Family Business is that damage per shot pretty much always outweighs clip size: a larger clip with less damage means you have to take and aim more shots than otherwise. It gives a larger margin of error but also creates more error. ScoRes could be buffed by increasing the reload speed for faster traps, and removing the stupid explode-near-feet function. As for the Enforcer, Valve nerfed the firing speed so now it has the same DPS as the Revolver. However, you still two-shot light classes with it and kill every class bar Heavy faster with the Enforcer than with the Revolver. It's basically still a straight upgrade. The pyro does get a massive amount of visual and audio cues from the sapped sentry (backstab scream, sapper noise, sapper sparks). While the Spy had to manouvre through enemy territory to get to that sentry, the Pyro is in a safe area and can just remove it without much danger. And as you point out yourself: the pyro already had a job to protect the sentry, and if the nest does get sapstabbed he clearly already failed. Why should he get another super easy change with sapper removal?
-
yeah what is this whole pokebank stuff? I didn't wuite follow
-
The difference between skill required for a spy to sap the sentry and a pyro to remove the sapper is still utterly ridiculous, so I'll definitely bring it up in a thread about balance. Of course you're completely free to not acknowledge it.
