for a decent mge tourney you will need a lot of unlock restrictions. A lot of weapons become horrendously overpowered and/or frustrating in 1v1. Engineer and Heavy also need to be banned.

I just spent another 50 bucks on buying singles. However, when that batch comes in, my monoblue merfolk deck will be finished! I even got all the sideboard material I needed and the cards I still wasn't sure about so I'm pretty damn excited. In other news that the three people that watch this thread actually care about, Theros spoilers Bestow, Heroic, devotion and Monstrosity seem to be the four new abilities. Not too keen on Heroic and Bestow (they seem kind of bland), but Monstrous has some really cool potential and I love devotion. Also, my favorite Theros card so far by a mile: Not only is she a God, she also kicks massive ass AND screams "merfolk"

the film was all fun and action, no plot "it's okay, it's analogue" is still a running gag between me and my friends also note that nuking a wormhole would do literally nothing

I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssee [spoiler2]As expected it's an incredibly artsy film, both in the good and the bad sense of the word. Technologically it is amazing for its time and really makes you feel the emptiness of space even with the limited resources they had back then. The film creates an atmosphere very few current day films with all their fancy CGI can recreate. That being said, some parts of the film are just entirely too long, inexcusably. The empty shots of space are obviously meant to immerse but take up to ten minutes a piece which just gets dull. The absolute winner of the "get on with it" award is the stargate scene which is over half an hour of nothing but trippy lights and ended up completely ruining my immersion simply by getting bored. So in short it is definitely worth the cult classic status it has right now, but could've been at least half an hour shorter without hurting anything[/spoiler2]
