I tried doter for like an hour or two, didn't like it. From what I've seen the gameplay is not worth the skill floor. I don't really mind TF2's lack of new content, in fact I'd rather have this than more useless weapons added. Then again, all these hats and shameless promotions are starting to gross me out. And some proof that valve still gives two shits about TF2's balance would be great as well. As for the comp thing, I'd like to see some highlander support. For a real competitive setup, 6s is by far superior, but its also a completely different metagame and has pretty much evolved into its final form, without much change in strategy. Highlander is much more accesible and has a lower skill floor so it might actually motivate people into going comp. It could also be a good base for valve to balance weapons on, whilse 6s differs too much from pub

why do people always complain about grinding in HG/SS? I literally never grinded in my current run and I've beaten Blue already. I will have to grind a bit for E4 part deux and Red, though.

I had a fun discussion about mtg rules on /tg/, so I made a little rules quiz for whoever is interested. You're allowed to look up the cards if you don't know them from heart, but not a rulebook. [spoiler2]1. I attack with Aetherling, and my opponent declares a blocker. In response, I use Aetherling's ability to make him unblockable. What happens? 2. I attack with a 4/4, my opponent declares a 1/1 creature as blocker, then sacrifices the blocker using Varolz's effect. How much damage does the defending player take? 3. The same as above, but now the attacking creature has Rancor equipped (making it 6/4 Trample). How much damage does the defending player take? 4. I play a creature using Cavern of Souls mana, making it uncounterable. My opponent wants to target it with Remand. Is this allowed and what happens? 5. pretty much all my dreams are at least somewhat lucid most of the time I just sit back and see where the dream takes me, unless something really bad happens that I don't want to see, and I try to chance it. I remember one dream where I was looking through the eyes of a soldier in Vietnam, and at one point he got shot and lay on the ground whilst his teammates had to leave him behind. That was boring to watch so I sort of noclipped to a different soldier to watch from his eyes instead

yeah I was really sceptical about the booster prizes first but you can easily get the profit out of them, especially with your Mythic luck. And just so you know if you pull a Tarmogoyf I will hunt you down and turn you into my booster-opening slave.
