that is one hell of a lot of retarded compressed into one comic
-
for highlander you could try tf2lobby if you have a mic it's pretty fun
-
yeah, it's a shame a team needs such a big time investment. I'd love to play some 6s again but I just can't afford it with my current uni schedule still, my fondest TF2 memories all come from 6s
-
We're all adults, we can all just discuss TF2's formats without murdering eachother can we? HL is a fun format and catches a bit of the unity pub misses, but I dislike how it forces one of each class. You end up with some people playing classes that are just utterly useless in the current situation, or teams being slowed down waiting for the slower classes. It all boils down to the heavymedic combo slowly strutting forward together with the demoman and all the other classes either trying to pick one of those three or defending them. If the Pyro, Spy or Scout gets picked nobody cares.

6s is a completely different game than pub TF2, you can't really compare them. What I love about comp is that it really brings out the teamwork-based gameplay TF2 has to offer; there is no bromance as tight as the two scouts in a 6s team. In pub, apart from combos and somewhat pushing together, everyone is still lonewolfing. It is still a great game on its own mostly because you can play both super serious and faff about whatever you feel like, but it can't create that excitement and feeling of unity 6s can give.

no now stop being thick because you are the reason people say 6s players are assholes
-
false. the offclasses aren't cut because they're subpar, but because the four comp classes fit the comp setup the best; namely that they're faster A lot of people seem to assume that some guy one day just stood up and said "ok TF2 will be 6v6 and we will use 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, a demo and a medic". This "cookiecutter" format has evolved for years of people experimenting with different setups. 6s was chosen because it was the minimal amount of players needed to properly hold a map without gettign spammy, and the picks came naturally because they were more efficient.

I wish you were able to get achievements multiple times. I actually enjoyed slowly watching the 1.000.000 fire damage tick up and that super satisfying ding sound but I don''t want to erase all my playtime

...unusual fixes and additions the tf2 team really has been doing its very best to annoy me lately
-
ok so I started up Hotline Miami it is now five hours later the game is awesome, my only gripe is that some of the boss battles are incredibly frustrating
-
highlander is everything cuttle said, however I don't necessarily think they're all bad things HL is much more accecible than 6s and it would be a better candidate for a "valve supported" comp setup than 6s
-
So I got this in the Humble Bundle and tried it out and as much as I hate saying it... I am severely disappointed the puzzles are very boring and tedious and the whole "haha they're rectangles with distinct personalities" thing gets old really fast
-
Hm alright that seems like a fair premise

They managed to make the discussion more disturbing than the actual game in Stretch Panic 4

I tried doter for like an hour or two, didn't like it. From what I've seen the gameplay is not worth the skill floor. I don't really mind TF2's lack of new content, in fact I'd rather have this than more useless weapons added. Then again, all these hats and shameless promotions are starting to gross me out. And some proof that valve still gives two shits about TF2's balance would be great as well. As for the comp thing, I'd like to see some highlander support. For a real competitive setup, 6s is by far superior, but its also a completely different metagame and has pretty much evolved into its final form, without much change in strategy. Highlander is much more accesible and has a lower skill floor so it might actually motivate people into going comp. It could also be a good base for valve to balance weapons on, whilse 6s differs too much from pub

can't see the video, it's set to private but... is there a reason he changes gender during his transformation? This sounds like a controversy stunt imo

actually when you put it like that bully: "haha Hunter is deaf, what an idiot!" Hunter: "bitch, my name is a gun. Do you have any idea how much pussy I'm gonna get when I grow up?" -

and you people get cross when I talk crap about America -
why do people always complain about grinding in HG/SS? I literally never grinded in my current run and I've beaten Blue already. I will have to grind a bit for E4 part deux and Red, though.

grats dude, happy for you that all worked out you should still report the scammer to the trade police though

I had a fun discussion about mtg rules on /tg/, so I made a little rules quiz for whoever is interested. You're allowed to look up the cards if you don't know them from heart, but not a rulebook. [spoiler2]1. I attack with Aetherling, and my opponent declares a blocker. In response, I use Aetherling's ability to make him unblockable. What happens? 2. I attack with a 4/4, my opponent declares a 1/1 creature as blocker, then sacrifices the blocker using Varolz's effect. How much damage does the defending player take? 3. The same as above, but now the attacking creature has Rancor equipped (making it 6/4 Trample). How much damage does the defending player take? 4. I play a creature using Cavern of Souls mana, making it uncounterable. My opponent wants to target it with Remand. Is this allowed and what happens? 5. I attack with Inkwell Leviathan, and my opponent (who has no islands) casts a Skylasher and blocks Inkwell. How much damage does he take? 6. I cast a Sorcery, and in response my opponent activates Judge's Familiar's ability. In response, I Lightning Bolt his Judge's Familiar. What happens? 7. My opponent casts Snapcaster Mage and wants to flashback a Lightning Bolt. In response, I sacrifice my Relic of Progenitus to exile all cards in all graveyards. What happens? 8. My opponent wants to Flashback Lingering Souls from the graveyard. In response, I sacrifice my Relic of Progenitus to exile all cards in all graveyards. What happens? 9. Me and my opponent are both at 3 life. My opponent casts Lightning Bolt targeting me, and in response I cast my own Lightning Bolt targeting him. What happens? 10. I have an Experiment One on the field at 1/1, and own two gates. I cast Sunspire Gatekeepers. How many times does Experiment One Evolve?[/spoiler2] Put your results in spoilers, I'll give the answers tomorrow
