I could bitch about this being incredibly old but instead I will say it's a classic

Then get some decent servers. I'd recommend the Reddit ones, they have nocrit, great mapvote and smart teambalance. If you can't live up to its skill level I'd suggest rocketblast, which does have crits on most servers, but also a good teambalance system and loads of different servers to specify your needs. Lethal Zone is also decent but the huge skil gap between players there often makes it teambalance game after game after game.

I am curious how many of you expect this to actually happen

It gets a lot of good neutral hits though, and has Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash. But yes, it gets resisted a lot, hence why I said it was decent, and not good.
