The participant (luckily a friend of mine) was scared shitless as he was in a soundproof room that suddenly went pitch black, and my supervisor and I were scared shitless that we just lost 200 datapoints. Luckily the power went back on again five minutes later and no data was lost So far the TCS-machine has broken down, the computer has crashed mid-test and now the power has gone out, I think everything that could go wrong went wrong.

nope, comp is 6v6 (no highlander support is crazy and I dont even like highlander) and casual is 12vs12. other than that the modes are essentially the same it's mindboggling, especially since competitive is actually really good; I played a few matches and had a blast. But why in the world add that system to casual play?

Basically, they gave casual play the same lobby system as competitive. What this means is that if you want to join a casual game, you first have to join the lobby and wait for like 5 minutes to join a server. Then, once you're in a server, you are penalized if you leave the game before it's over. Doesn't matter that a stally game of Dustbowl can easily go to 20 minutes, you gotta sit through it. Also it's best of 3 They removed the server tab entirely and thank God you can still access it through a command. You can then only find community servers this way meaning that valve servers are now exclusively lobby-based So instead of starting up TF2 and playing videogames within 20 seconds you have to wait 5 minutes to be locked into a match. The whole charm of TF2 for me was that I could start it up and play for half an hour when I had the chance Also there is a point system for casual as well so everyone is tryharding their lungs out which gets tiring after 3 games with 3 heavymedic combos

The casual matchmaking is without hyperbole the single worst thing Valve has ever done to TF2 If it does not get straight up removed, this will be the thing that kills TF2
