Wow they really did an amazing job with this. I'm especially impressed how they managed to dodge the plot issue of "we already threathened to destroy the world, what could possibly raise the stakes further?" (there's bound to be a trope for that). The characters are veyr nice too, especially Korra herselfAlso Amon is a pretty damn badass antagonist, especially because his reason for evilness actually kind of makes sense. PS: for those mesmerising on Amon's real face, they're already heavily hinting on that in Korra's flashbacks.

Definately not directly stolen from /v/ What do you guys think is most important in video games; large, magnificent plots or shapely and well-defined character backstories? Personally I'm a real plot man myself, but on the other hand I'd rather have a game with a great backstory and little to no plot than a game with amazing plot but no backstory.

The lolsorandumb part of Adventure Time is able to keep it entertaining and funny to watch most of the time, but I by far prefer the episodes with some character development (as Skye said, the Ice King Origins episode). It also occasionally tries too hard to cram a moral into all its random babbling, which often makes the episode slow and unoriginal

Not sure if getting the joke or actually talking about games Most likely Backstories. Plot has become extremely predictable as of late. Gameplay is of course the most important thing of all. If you have a game with great plot and backstory but the gameplay sucks, you could just as well read a bout about it on your own
