Modding is scary as fuck, especially when your own paid gun is on the line. We downright ruined one maverick because we made the bullet holders too short so now they just sort of fall out when you fire. When it works however, it's awesome, you can pretty much double their range. One of my friends is really good at it though, and there are super detailed videos about it on youtube.

Oh God yes Nerf guns, the epitome of nerdism. Me and some friends were joking around in a mall and stumbled upon these things in a Toys R Us. At first we thought it was too childish and left them there, but an hour later we came running back and all bought one. Now we have three Mavericks, two Assault Rifles, one minigun, one sniper rifle, two sawn-off shotguns and seven small sidearms divided over the 8 of us (the two shotguns are dual wielded, and just as awesome as they are impractical). Occasionally, we have massive shootouts in one of our houses which results in several flipped tables, at least one broken lamp, and foam bullets EVERYWHERE. Being a manchild is awesome. Oh yeah, we also all modded our guns so they shoot harder. Those small sidearms become pretty scary when they can actually bruise you up close. And if you leave the screws loose a bit, they sound just as loud as a real gun
