I had two fucked up dreams last night. In the first one a space robot came to Earth and started massacring people non-stop. Mankind tried everything to stop it but no matter what they bombarded it with it didn't even faze the robot. So seeing as the robot was only the size of a normal human and it killed every person by hand (no guns or whatever) peopje just decided to live with it and life returned to normal while everyone watched the news in the evening to hear what unfortunate city the robot was currently genociding. Eventually another robot came down to scold the robot like it was a little child and then sucked it up in a syringe and fly off which is where the dream ended That sounds pretty gruesome but the entire dream had a really cartoony aestetic (the killer robot looked a lot like Bender) so it was just weird. The other dream I had however was one of the worst nightmares I've had in a long time It started off at some party where I was with two friends of mine and it was really dull. So we walked outside (where it was suddenly the middle of the day) and just walked around in this desolate little town for a bit when I suddenly see my uncle yelling and bashing his fist against the door of some house out of his mind with rage. Because of dream logic I knew that this was the house of a dealer that made my uncle's daughter OD (he doesn't even have a daughter irl) so we were pretty sure he was going to murder the guy and tried to calm him. Then when my uncle realizes he can't get the door open no matter what he tries he runs off into a store and I follow him, where I find him with a shotgun in his mouth ready to blow his own brains out. I quickly grab the gun but he still fires and while he misses his brain he still blows half his face off So now I'm standing in an abandoned store cradling my bleeding out uncle with my two friends just standing in the door opening doing nothing and I'm yelling at them to do something while trying to keep my uncle conscious and I'm trying to call an ambulance with my phone in my left hand and I just can't get it to work; I drop the phone several times, I fail to unlock it, it doesn't register the numbers I'm trying to dial and keeps calling wrong numbers, I call 911 instead of 112 which is the Dutch alarm number, I'm looking through the window trying to make out the street name but it's blurry and some bizarre twenty-letter non-word. And the entire time this happens everything in the dream is just completely dead silent apart from my own yelling and swearing trying to let my uncle not pass out. After what felt like fifteen minutes of this shit I finally manage to call the alarm number when I just hear a dull "hello?" coming from the other end to break the silence and I wake up. Didn't sleep for the rest of the night

So my friend bought a playset of Bitterblossoms off Marktplaats (Dutch eBay) and it turns out they are fakes. 70 buckaroos down the drain and of course the guy who sold them already bailed I was aware of the fakes scare going around but didn't expect it to get so close so fast. He's currently trying to undo the transaction through his bank

Why would anyone do this. Like seriously, from the perspective of a company who wants to sell as many copies as possible. Do they expect people to buy it because of the brand? Is there noone in the marketing world who understands that rehashing an old brand as an entirely new concept only alienates people from buying this?
