You guys are right, I'm over the line with calling sport shooting psychopatic. I'm going to drop this now seeing as it's going nowhere. I do not enjoy guns and I have lived my entire life in a country where weapons are banned. I do not think that sport shooting alone is enough reason to have weapons easily accessible to the public and although it's acceptable under strict regulations I am downright disgusted by how easy it is to get a weapon in some states of America. If the EU decides on a international ban on guns I will see this as a good thing but seeing as guns are already incredibly hard to get by in the Netherlands it won't affect me much one way or another

As for control of overpopulation, that can be done by professionals who are allowed to have guns for their jobs, just like police officers. There are x people of which a very minor y die of guns? That Y would be even smaller if there were no guns. And preventing accidents with training would be much easier if you couldn't buy guns at walmart and they were only handled by professionals. Most gun deaths being by accident is more an argument for banning public access to guns than against it

holy shit fuck this post editor so hard @​corv: the difference is something people have to live with. Some people's hobby is not worth easy access to murder weapons. Also honestly I think that desire for the knockback and "feeling" of a real gun over airsoft or other replacements is somewhat psychopathic. @Rynj: that was facetious towards kras flipping out over guns getting banned @binary: that's a ridiculous argument. Yes, it will always be possible to get ahold of guns, but that is in no way an argument why they should be legal. I can call a friend and he'd be able to hit me up with any drug I'd want, that doesn't mean we should make hard drugs legal and distributable in wall mart. And yes you can kill anyone with anything, but guns make it a hell of a lot easier to do it en-masse. And formulas to create bombs and many chemicals are just as well hidden from public use.

​ For sports, just use airsoft, for collecting use literally anything else, and sport hunting is medieval and should be banned just as well. And if freedom is personal, stop using freedom as an argument to not ban guns.

Both bricks and motorcycles have a useful primary function but both can cause lethal accidents or be used for crimes. Guns have only one purpose and that is to kill people, they are by design a tool for murder and there is no reason a civilian needs to possess a gun. No civilian needs a gun, I don't need a gun, banning guns does not interfere with my personal freedom and if they get banned my house won't magically be turned into a grey cube. This has nothing to do with freedom and "freedom" is only used here as an argument because there is zero other way to defend people being allowed to carry a tool which only purpose is murder.

I've been watching Hellsing Ultimate. I watched it a few years ago but back then it wasn't finished yet so I figured to just start from the beginning again It's a fun anime, really over the top and the writers are clearly in on the joke. Or at least I hope so, because boy are those English spoken lines silly and is Arucard edgy. Something I noticed is that they are really good at explaining just enough about how their universe works and then shutting up before they go nanomachines/medichloreans/quantum physics; these are the rules of how becoming a vampire or ghoul works. Why? No shut up. This guy does the coolest shit with thin wires that sometimes can cut through entire torsos but not always through hands. Why? No shut up. This man resembling a shaved bear is human but can stand up against high level vampires, pulls infinite swords out of his ass and regenerates from explosive bullets because genetics. How? NO SHUT UP JUST LOOK AT THE COOL THING. They also went the only possible route they could have taken to write a character more worthy of the title "bad guy" than the good guys are by making him very literally worse than Hitler Two things that really hurt the series are first of all that the episodes last a whole hour: I do not have much free time and am not always willing or able to put an entire hour into watching anime. I've mostly watched the episodes in halves because of that, which is annoying and takes me out of the story. Much worse than that however, are the "silly joke" bits they sprinkle around here and there where the artstyle goes simplified and I have to sit through a sequence of epic exdee holds up spork anime humour, which in an hour long video time bar are JUST too short to be able to properly skip through. They are so goddamn awful and out of place, why the fuck was this necessary? The series already has comedic moments without these skits and even if I had the required amount of chromosomes to enjoy them it would still completely break the grimdark style and atmosphere of the show. FMA did this too and even though there it was less out of place it still bothered the hell out of me. At least now whenever I bitch about "generic anime humour" I have a perfect example of what I mean and what's wrong with it. So yeah very fun series but those joke skits really need to go and stay go. I still have 3 episodes to go now which I will hopefully have watched before the weekend after which I can say what I thought of the story bits

Fallout 4 shitstorm has been a reason for me to take an as long as possible break from 4chan again. Not only have I gotten half the plot spoiled but the baseless hatred for that game just became ridiculous; I saw a thread where people were talking about the metacritic scores and about how many 0 point reviews the game had gotten, and there was one guy who was arguing that these weren't just bash reviews but that the game genuinely was a 0 out of 10 in quality
