TF2 always thinks I'm a new player when I start TF2
Razputin replied to _Jaybee_'s topic in Team Fortress 2.5
Sounds like someone is trying to tell you to git gud -
Im surprised we got anything at all so short after the jungle update, free contracts are nice
-
Jesus Christ how horrifying, sounds like a freezing game boy
-
Ambassador is still the best revolver though

Personally I'm more than glad most of the stuff I posted as a teenager got wiped away -
The Dragon's Fury is amazing, one of my favourite weapons just hands down. The other new pyro weapons seem kind of lacking; the jet pack is really limited with all the cooldown and slow switching, the gas passer is a lot of work just for something that can be extinguished with a healthpack, and the slapper was probably intended as a joke from the start
-
It's out
-
Im seeing cries of OP everywhere, but it might just be people adjusting to the pyro actually be a threat. I really want to get to playing it myself Also pyro actually did have a time of being OP, when the backburner gave you +50 HP

What? Were you using comp matchmaking? Causal doesn't punish you for abandoning
-
-
I probably won't have time to play this weekend, I hope they will have taken out all the game crashing bugs they will implement today by the time I get to play monday after work
-
The pros - balance changes are generally good and have some long awaited ones - contract changes seem good and i like doing contracts - free contracts to unlock weapons is really nice and much better than the previous scrambling for craft materials - casual matchmaking changes are nice - pyro changes and new unlocks are more than I expected - pyro unlocks seem interesting and I really want to try them out The cons - some balance changes are unnecessary (but nothing fatal) - new video was meh - no updates to comp matchmaking is downright embarrassing - honestly for a year of waiting this update really wasn't that "mammoth" at all without comp matchmaking changes, which is what I assumed was what made it take so long C+, excited to play some casual again but I had hoped to be excited for playing comp again as well. I hope they do add those semi-soon but it'll probably be another half year
-
Laughing at the fact they managed to delay it one more day. Balance patch seems great, no changes for comp matchmaking is a sin

Well all the people who read this also write for it so they'll probably be up to date -
Im a little worried that those heavy jokes make it sound like there will be no heavy update at all
-
Where did you get that list? Or is it just a breakdown of the pile of weapons?
-
Map looks real pretty, I hope that jetpack turns out to be good Video was ok but it's pretty obvious they were only able to get the scout VA as the rest is either incapable of stil doing the voices or unwilling. Even the Pyro mumble of the Headcase is no longer the original VA

Welcome to subspuf! Just to let you know, we have a very strict no "anime" policy over here. Please discuss wholesome western animation only.

Man I'm doing a pilot test right now and a friend of mine is participating but SO MANY things went wrong we have well over two hours of delay, I feel so goddamn bad for him -
Lmao even subspuf updates when TF2 doesnt
-
I might have this wrong but aren't valve employees allowed to work on whatever project they want? It's a nice thought in theory to promote creativity but at the end of the day people are lazy and will always choose the path of least resistance
-
I still love the game, I still play the game even, but you people are seriously deluded if you still believe there are people with passion left at valve hq.
-
Valve has dropped the ball years ago yeah, but the tf2 team always had the excuse of being criminally understaffed and I would have liked to believe there are still passionate people in that branch. After yesterday it's gotten really hard to still push that narrative
