so it turns out velen priest is actually pretty viable it feels great to burst a zoolock down from 20 with velen-mindblast-mindblast Plus, unlike many of the other huge-damage combos, it works through taunt and only requires emperor to hit a single part of the combo to work. And I'd imagine in really slow controlly matches against like a grinder deck you could just draw everything until you get Velen, Velen's Chosen, Mind Blast x2, and Holy Smite all in hand for 12+12+6=30 damage combo after one turn of Emperor.

INB4 super annoying combo shamans that just build up spellpower totems + brewmaster them back into their hands until they've got a whole bunch of one mana spellpower dudes in their hand for a crazy combo.

I think it'll see play in Priest, Control Warrior, Grinder Mage, and Control Paladin. Maybe in the very slow ramp druid decks.

I have 340 HP, 200 mana, and have beaten skeletron, eye of cthulhu, eater of worlds, queen bee. Still no invasion. Unless it happened and I forgot and the goblin tinkerer is waiting to be rescued. Is there any way to check?

Just found a cascade, which is evidently the best pre-hardmode yoyo. Either gonna have to go on my brother's world to use his goblin merchant or wait for an invasion on my world, because those darn goblins just aren't coming. I think I'll hold off on the staff until I can make the diamond one, then.

Are the gem staffs worth it?

Just picked this game up for the first time in like a year (ignoring the mobile version) to play with my brother. Pretty fun. I, uh, might not join the group server until I get a bit more developed. You seem to be rather far on.

well it's more alive than this thread I was just thinking about it as I may be playing TF2 tomorrow - and well, it's pretty far from dead. Fourth-most-played game on steam, behind Dota 2 (unsurprising), CS:GO (unsurprising), and Terraria (what? Major content update?). Beating out GTA V, GMod, ARK (close), and Skyrim rather handily. So not dead.
