This. And a black person killing a white person, either no news coverage or it was so totally justified because minorities can do no sin. -

Honestly, I can't agree with anyone on this, except those who can't agree with anyone. I believe that this case was massively mishandled and used by racemongers (for lack of a better term) as a tool, which is wrong. A young man died, but not the kid in the pictures the kept showing - that was him when he was fourteen years old, not the seventeen-year-old Negro who had about four inches on Zimmerman. Honestly? I don't know. I believe Zimmerman, if his side of the story is true, is not guilty in any way but of a lack of foresight. Sure, it would be better if he stayed in his car, but he didn't, and was justified in defending himself. But maybe the facts are wrong. The evidence shows that Martin had Zimmerman on the ground, beating his head against the ground - and I don't know how he got Zimmerman in that position if Zimmerman was just ready and willing to kill him. I can't really say on this case. I'm sad someone had to die, I'm sad Zimmerman's life was screwed up by this, but I'm not going to point fingers at anyone, except those who were involved in the racemongering and sensationalizing of the case. -

Don't you have a different sort of port for keyboards on the back? Most desktops have these green and purple ports, which can work with some keyboards.

This. Also, Raz, there's something you need to see. I'll try and find it. -

Raz. The issue is that in innocent civilians will not have them at all but some of the criminals will. And we can't know how big that some is! Unless, of course, we ban guns. And what if it isn't a mere 5%? What if it's 20%? 30%? Even 50%? -

What I was making the distinction between is citizens who will follow the law, and citizens who won't. But the main point is, you disarm everyone (for all intents and purposes) who follows the law, and some (maybe most, I don't know) who won't/don't. -

Making guns illegal drops the chance of a law-abiding citizen having them to 0. And sure, it would become quite a bit more difficult to acquire illegal guns, but if you did the chance of there being someone able to defend themselves is extremely low. Also, if I'm understanding what you're trying to say about school shootings, that's a retarded example. The vast majority of people in schools are minors and the next largest group is teachers, neither of which can legally carry guns. Usually, there'll be a police officer or security guard on site, but he can't be everywhere. Of course giving law-abiding citizens guns won't stop school shooting - they can't carry guns in school anyways. Granted, the shooters will find the gun more difficult to obtain, but how much more? You really can't know without experimenting, and if they can still obtain guns with relative ease, then who knows how many people could die who would have lived if there had been an armed citizen at the scene? -

If you take guns away from the general public, the vast majority of law-abiding citizens will not be able to defend themselves when the people who don't care what the law says - the criminals - still have guns. Sure, they'll be less frequent, but if you subtract almost all of the legally obtained guns (the only ones law-abiding citizens will have) and maybe a portion of the illegal guns, the bad guys come out ahead. -

The stand your ground law is based on a decent idea, but needs to be nailed down a bit more. A fair bit. My main issue with the trial is how people got into "oh noes racism in america" hissy fit. Seriously? Of all of America's actual problems, people flip out about racism the most, even when actual (not imagined) racism is pretty much dead in America. Imagined racism is as strong or stronger than ever. Why? Because the other guy - usually a right-winger, in the case of racism - can't be the good guy. And flinging accusations of racism around kills two birds with one stone - minority parties who believe you won't vote, and the other guy looks like a terrible person! This is all made easier by the border issue. Conservatives tend strongly to be more anti-illegal-immigrant (and yes, that is an issue, I live in Texas so I would know), so you just have to say "oh noes they hate the Hispanics" and it's easy to slip in Negroes along side them. In other words, this is all just a big show put on for the benefit of those who think racism is still a major problem in America. We've got some leftovers, granted (Affirmative Action, which I believe is supremely racist - 99/100 employers won't segregate against minorities anymore, and oftentimes you're better off being a minority - because its continued existence implies they need some 'extra help' to get a job), but most of those will be dealt with in time. -

This is possible. I mean, if there was a serious split between the two of 'em - it was pretty clear they were great friends. But seriously, I like the new guy as much as I liked Jon. They both had a slightly different dynamic with egoraptor, but who knows? The only issue is we might get less fanimations.
