i'd be all for it -
do you know if one has to use the kill command to make this work? or is it possible to just bind a key to the "use" part and do that right after a normal death?

Last night I had a bizarre dream in which mitt romney apparently committed suicide but on further examination his suicide note proved to be a hologram containing the chemical structure of some toxin which proved that he had been murdered? I don't even know where that came from...

What song are you listening to RIGHT now?

guys i am addicted to this song -
This game has been out for a while but apparently I'm the only spuffer who plays it. So I'm here to tell you why you should check it out. It's basically a single-player co-op game where you control both of the titular brothers with the left and right stick on a controller. The game manages to use that as part of the telling of the story, something I haven't really seen in games. There are a few puzzles that you must solve, using both of the brother's special abilities, which again ties into the story. It's an interesting control scheme, and it's not hard to pick up. The rest of the tale is told purely through the settings and character's body language - there's no intelligible dialogue. I don't want to talk too much about the story though, don't want to spoil anything. Personally my favorite part of the game was the environments, there are some pretty fantastic settings in the game (a battlefield of giants, for instance) and they all look pretty great. You can't really interact to any great extent with NPC's because of the no dialogue thing, but what interaction there is is pretty cool, for the lack of words involved. There aren't too many enemies, and fighting them is more of a puzzle than a battle, but each one requires a different approach, using both brothers to get around it, so they're not boring to encounter. The music's also pretty awesome, I've been listening to it all day. So yeah, y'all should check the game out. I should warn you that it's kinda short, took me 4 hours to beat it. But I don't really mind that, I don't play most of games for more than a few hours anyway. It's almost like a playable movie, but one that doesn't suck and rely on quick-time events. It's quickly become one of my favorite games for story, and in general I think that stories just get in the way of gaming. So give it a try, if you get a chance, you won't regret it

yeah, 1.2's pretty great, been playing co-op with a friend really loving the increased enemy variety and terraria's weather system is pretty much the best in any game now

The Government was shut down...
The Last Templar replied to Mersopolis's topic in Current Events, News & Politics
stuff like this is why I don't consider myself a republican anymore i think Alexander Hamilton was right when he wrote about the danger of political parties in Washington's farewell address they're just dividing the country to the point that nothing major can be accomplished even if it could be beneficial -
what's the ip?

Which items do you wanna see changed?
The Last Templar replied to Razputin's topic in Team Fortress 2.5
A while ago I had an idea for a way to completely rework the wrangler, which made use of the new attack3 functionality. Basically manual aiming would be same, but there would be no shield. Instead, a "shield" meter would be built up as the wrangler did damage, and attack3 would deploy a shield in a short burst which would only block a certain percentage of incoming damage instead of increasing the sentry's hitpoints, so the attacker would still be eating away at the sg's health. the shield would require precise timing (kinda like airblast) in order to block damage because it would deplete quickly and in increments (to prevent only deploying the shield for the fraction of a second the gun takes damage), so it would require a lot more skill than just having a permanant shield. it would also make it impossible to defend against stickies planted beneath the sentry unless you held the button down to use all your shield, but then the demo could just wait until you ran out of shield meter. anyway, i think that's the rough idea and it would solve a lot of problems with the wrangler while still allowing it to be effective and requiring a little more skill. -
not anymore, $90 was just because kickstarter backers payed the same amount for alpha access its down to $60 which is slightly more than what i payed for beta access i haven't played that game since trading cards came out and I really need to get back into it. so many other games to play though #firstworldproblems

this would allow silent cloak + disguise, since the silence effect would no longer be bound to the YER. it would need a pretty hefty downside. on the plus side, no more silenced dead ringing. -
wow i didn't know you guys still did thisi might have to join in again

opinions... this has been around since forever and valve apparently decided that robot hats and stupid tv show tie-ins deserved to get in over it :gclap:
