ooh this looks fun [spoiler2] The gym would clearly be like a cafe or something. Whenever you beat a random trainer you get a drink that makes you run faster. To reach the gym leader, you have to run across this hallway that collapses, so you have to be going fast enough to outrun the collapse. ....Keep in mind I know jack shit about pokemon past type weaknesses, so don't make fun of muh 'mon choice[/spoiler2]

So if any of you guys know, apparently somewhere they announced a LoGH remake was in the works. Currently right now /a/ is exploding over it.

I'm not sure how to feel on the lack of searchers. My first thought is that it's good that they don't have them, because they are really the only good option: Like, in yugioh my deck has 11 cards that search out of 40 and it's not even close to competive. If any of you guys know about E-Dragons, the reason why they were broken as fuck was because they all searched each other out whenever another one's effect activated. So you could fill up the field with four of those fuckers and still have at least four cards in hand. However, another thing is that Yugioh and Hearthstone are really different early-game. People can go off first turn and essentially seal the game in yugioh, but they definitely can't do that in hearthstone. So, the only time adding shit to hand would be really viable is later-game, when you can manage to activate something that searches, and then be able to use the card you searched for in the same turn. The lack of "quick" cards is something as well, which means that you can't really do much on your opponent's turn. This is especially different from yugioh, as quite a few decks focus on using quicks (either spell or traps or even monster effects) to control the field rather than just swarming the field or hitting their monsters down. Hell, in yugioh there's a deck coming out that focuses entirely on going off on your opponent's turn. Also the fact that your cards are unreachable after they're killed is interesting as well. So I guess all the shit I just wrote really just means: hearthstone is unique and a slower game than the other thing's I'm familiar with, and that's probably a good thing. Noted. watching people definitely made me better in magic and yugioh so hey might as well work with this too

Is this game's main method of adding cards to hand solely drawing, or are there "searchers?" [That's a yugioh term I guess, just means you place a card from deck on field or hand]
