I've never had automatic experience either. There's a shooting range in Vegas that lets you shoot automatic weapons (and even one of those .50cal sniper rifles) so maybe one day I'll hit that place up

True, true. but hearing the THWACK of an arrow hitting a target is the closest thing I can get to that in the confines of this city. I'm glad it's starting to cool down in Vegas, I might take my bow out a lot more now.

Target shooting is good fun, the only problem is most ammo is pretty expensive, especially the higher up in size you go Also you can't just shoot (unless you live in the country I guess) whenever you want. I have found bows to be a nice alternative to guns when you can't drive out to an unpopulated area.
