Death Note is alright up until a certain point. You have to suspend your disbelief to a pretty crazy point in order to give a fuck about what is actually happening at times, but in a show with several supernatural elements in the first place, that wasn't too hard. It's a pretty fun watch if you don't take it too seriously. Then it reaches a specific episode with a specific plot twist and then the rest of the show is full fucking retard and I dropped it shortly after. Kind of curious which parts you mean it has been a few years since I watched death note

They already erased the other films from the current canon. Casino Royale was a full reboot. As far as I'm concerned that means they can make up whatever new rules they want, like "James Bond" being just an alias. Honestly, I don't even care whether the guy's black or not, Idris Elba's just one of the best guys for the job.

I'm working through hard mode as Azazel, because I suck ass and can only beat hard mode as Azazel. I just finished the boss rusn, so all I have left is The Lamb and the final boss. It is a lot more fun though, I would agree.

I have two christmas soundtracks who wants

I want to make a Kickstarter called "Twitch Plays Kayohgee". Once I secure enough funds I'll make a series where once a month I wander around Portland for 24 hours with Google Glass on, streaming and following Twitch's collective instructions. Extra money would go into a "slush fund" that I could spend a certain amount of per episode, so if you wanted to make me buy, like, $500 worth of sex toys to distribute to the homeless, I could do that. I give it 'till Episode 2 before Twitch brutally murders me... So who wants to give me money?

That one's fucking great

So I recently watched the "Assembly Cut" of Alien³. I saw the theatrical cut a while back and fucking hated it, but the re-worked version actually isn't that terrible. It's still a weak movie but there are a few well executed elements here and there that make me wonder what could have been if the production hadn't been so troubled. Fincher definitely knows how to build up an atmosphere and there were lots of moments that reminded me of the more slow paced, suspenseful Alien, in a good way. If the special effects hadn't been a clusterfuck and the screenplay hasn't been a clusterfuck and the music hadn't been a clusterfuck and the studio hadn't been a bunch of fucking morons, it actually could have been a really solid bookend for the original two. Ah well.

And it only took them, what, a year and a half? Good show, Valve.
