I think I just found one of the most hilariously aggravating combos in the game. Not being familiar with a lot the pick-ups I usually just grab anything new and learn it as I go because I'm too lazy to check the wiki and because I really don't care about dying because of shitty items. In this case I ended up getting controllable tears which was actually very cool. Unfortunately later on I picked up orbiting tears as well, which was a huge mistake. Combined, you get one giant tear that's semi-controllable, meaning it constantly orbits you whether you want it to or not. You try to move your tear to hit an enemy, but the tear actively fights you and tries to resume moving in its own direction. Sometimes I wish I had a twitch or something because I think watching me curse out this fucking water ball that refuses to stay in one spot would have been pretty amusing. As a side note, does anyone else find Rebirth considerably easier than the original? I absolutely sucked at BoI but I'm finding that I make it through the earlier levels without much effort now.

I bought it I'm going to waste ten bucks failing at this game but I regret nothing

MTM is great. I'm glad it's around to tide me over until Venture Bros. comes back.

That guy seemed like an asshole. I'm glad his game is shit.

Stop giving me hope, overkill you and I both know I'm never gonna find those fucking patterns

I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to put together a shotgun dodge build. I've noticed even with ICTV I tend to run around the map a bit and rather aggressively go after targets so I might be better served with dodge. Plus I want to try out some new shit. At the same time I don't want to have to give up my shotguns. I think Raven/Signature .40 makes a pretty decent blend of damage/concealment which could work given the right skills. As long as I ace Sneaky Bastard and Low Blow I should have enough room to bring a Loco and a reasonably concealed Primary. I guess I could go Akimbo/Loco as well but I'm not really a fan of dual pistols. At this point I'm just not sure if I can make it really viable. Mastermind seems like it works a lot better with Fugitive than Enforcer does.

what Ill take several Okay so they took the "Add to cart" button away. How do I use nerd tricks to trick the store into letting me buy this
-
How do they figure that? To my knowledge Moffat hasn't written for the Master.

I'm not sure there's any other film franchise that has more idiotic and inconsistent titles than the Fast and the Furious series. Just look at this shit: The Fast and the Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Fast & Furious Fast Five Fast & Furious 6 Furious 7 Jesus, make up your minds.

Ohhhhh SHIT

I don't consider him part of the crew but I'm fine with him being an Ilija-esque hired gun.

I have all the masks except Frank. I haven't found a single pattern yet, though. I really want Doomweaver.

I did a four stores grind for my first shotgun silencer and even when I got it I felt dead inside.

So this chiptune artist I like is putting out a cover album of BoI. Might be worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing: http://inversephase.bandcamp.com/album/the-chipping-of-isaac

Strangely enough DW was the only difficulty I didn't just stare at the floor for.

The back is far easier than the front, as long as the guards don't turn stationary in terrible spots. The path the guards take is super predictable and there's almost always a path between the vault and the elevator/the timelock to get around where the guards currently are. I highly recommend buying the desk and entryway spycams. Today was the first time I've tried it out solo so I haven't really learned the guard patterns yet. I figured they probably patrolled the whole inner area so it looked like one of them would eventually walk past the vault as I was carrying bags to the elevator. I probably should have taken more time to watch them before saying "fuck this" and restarting. That first time I described I was definitely boned, though. I've been using preplanning mostly for body bags because on my first few runs I had to kill a lot of civs and felt very nervous about leaving them out in the open because of the potential elevator guard/civilian (I don't like killing that guard if he shows up because then I've used three pagers). Next time around I'll try those cams out, though.

The two guards in the front patrol the entire area so they'll always pass the server room, meaning you always have to take them out unless you bought the poisoned cake. And wow that's some shit luck with the guards in the back, I've never seen that happen. I've just had shit luck in general. If I get a good server room spawn, I get shit keycard or cam spawns. Every time I've done the computer hacking section I've had to take out both office floors of civs because the correct computer seems to be the last one I try. And then even if I get through everything and get past the time lock I have no idea how the vault is going to be set up. It's happened twice now that I got inside, took a look around and said "fuck, I'm not sure there's a good way to do this". I'm pretty much done trying this solo for the time being. It probably wouldn't be too bad with a second person, though, especially with that fugitive skill that lets you pick keycards up while casing.

I don't understand how you're supposed to be able to stealth Big Bank under certain circumstances. I went through it on solo death wish. The server room was near the stairwell and I had two guards that both ended up patrolling in that area, so I had to use two of my pagers on them lest the open server door alert them. I managed to get past the time lock and into the vault and lo and behold there are three fucking guards, one patrolling back and forth to the vault and two in static positions around the door. I've heard that breaking cams can sometimes call a guard behind the time lock door which renders them immobile so I guess I could have just gotten unlucky as hell, but whether they were glitched or legitimately supposed to be there, this is bullshit. There was no way to get the door open and finish the heist. Even if I wasn't playing solo and could have taken the two stationary guards at the same time, the third guy would have come back and there would have been no pagers left. Why, Payday? Why?

I had a sort of panic attack/night terror thing this morning. I was being chased by some kind of lumbering beast in a dream and I woke up in the upstairs bathroom wrapped in blankets having torn them off my bed in my sleep, run upstairs with them still on and locked myself inside. Man, I thought I was done with this shit.

I'm not sure how much difference there is between a T2 sight with Rifleman Aced (which is what I normally use) and a T3 sight like the Theia without it. I haven't really played with it much TBH. I've just always needed to take Rifleman to get up the Tech tree so until I test all the different magnifications with and without it I'd just rather not fuck with what I'm used to.

Once I infamy II I might use my point on Enforcer and try out an Enforcer/Fugitive build like so. I haven't decided if I like moving at regular speed with ironsights yet, thus Winstone Wolfe Ace for now. I also might move take Undertaker Basic instead of Uppers Aced so I can keep Fully Loaded, but I feel like if you're going for FAKs it's probably better to just go all the way and fully upgrade them. Has anyone tried Bullseye/Aced? Is it worth the points?
-
I guess it's time for a rate my build. Run and Gun ace is a neat skill but I need those points elsewhere. The added movement speed is good enough until I hit Infamy II/III and can trim some points from Tech and Enforcer. Overall though, I think this looks fairly well rounded and it'll let me do pretty much all the shit I want to be able to do. I've never bothered taking Berserker before but I want to start playing on DW more often and it seems to work really well with the Muscle perk deck.
