Is it one of those things where I can just watch the episode and enjoy it by itself, or would I have to watch an entire arc? I kind of casually tune into One Piece every so often.

I didn't mind that Valve changed set bonuses but I thought that whole controversy was a little overblown to be honest. The principle behind the hats was significantly worse than any problems they caused in the actual game.

Cool. The "position" in my bio finally makes sense again. This is always how I've felt about it. Unless you set it up so the word "shitpost" and other variants just couldn't be submitted at all it doesn't do much (and people would still get around that). We all know what elephant ballerinas or whatever are.

Yeah, I don't use the Muldon. I just hate the ironsight that most of the stocks put on it IIRC. I'll probably use the police shorty when I get it just because of the insane amounts of stability, but I'd also like to try out the Standard stock.

>sights on a shotgun Get out I don't usually use them but the stock I have on the loco gives it that awkward boxy ironsight so I'd rather put something on it. Speculator seems as unobtrusive as possible.

I recently put a speculator sight on my Loco because I like having a floating reticle without much of an actual frame to get in the way, or magnification. I wouldn't use it on anything else, though.

Yeah, this is definitely the weakest part of the show. In that particular case I guess they're trying to put a spin on the whole custody battle thing considering that , but there's been way too much screen time devoted to it and other stuff like it. It's a shame, because there's some legitimately awesome stuff happening in this show. I dunno how far you watched but there are a couple good kills near the end of the pilot. It just sucks you have to sit through so much crap to actually see them.

The Strain's still pretty good. I'm enjoying it despite that fact that it has some considerable flaws. Honestly if it dropped trying to flesh out its mostly dull characters and focused solely on being a violent horror series it would go from being an okay show to being fucking awesome. For instance, last week's episode: We're finally seeing the main characters venture into the master vampire's lair. It's creepy, it's tense, it's everything the show should be. But for some reason we have to keep interrupting that by cutting to this little kid hanging out with a woman who has dementia because it's a "human drama" or some bullshit... except the human drama parts are terribly executed and offer no emotional weight. Why can't we just have vampire killing without the rest of this dumb bullshit?
