This is what I often do. I put 8 in Endurance to start and then get my other skills where I want them. Then I use both Intense Training perks to buff my Endurance up to 10, so I can get DT, Regen and eight skill points to put in other trees. Also, as far an New Vegas is concerned, getting the gold bars out of the Sierra Madre is one of the best things you can do IMO. There's a legitimate way to do it and it supplies you with something like 200,000 caps, probably more than you'll ever use in a single run. It makes buying all the implants and GRA weapons a whole lot simpler.

It's usually a good idea to take either Lockpick or Science, although I think Lockpick is generally better.

Eh. I just have my intelligence at average levels and keep an assload of Mentats on me.

Explosives is just a character trait that I'm pretty sure Mr. White should have if I'm going by the show. I was talking about in reference to the game, but ok I know. I'm saying that I wouldn't usually use Explosives either (unless I was working to max it out) but since I was doing a playthrough for a particular character from a show, I thought it would be fitting since he cooks up explosives on a few occasions. Same with Science.

Weird characters are fun. I remember one playthrough I did as Walter White. I had high Science, Speech, Explosives and Guns, although I had very low strength so I could really only use handguns. I spent the entire game lying, manipulating and making most of my caps from producing chems. The riot shotgun in New Vegas is an absolute beast with the Stay Back perk. Yesterday I used VATS on a Cazador and all three shots were knockback shots. The Cazador was swooping down during the first one, and I guess the combination of it flying towards me and getting met with an opposite force on the right spot on its body sent it flipping off over my character's head. He did a 180 degree turn and nailed it again before it landed which immediately launched it into the air before the killing blow, which sent its corpse even further before it landed nearby with a satisfying thump. Watching my Fallout character shotgun juggle that thing in slow motion was probably the tightest shit I've ever seen in that game.

My thoughts exactly. The game looks pretty neat but not I'm not sure "pretty neat" is worth seven bucks.

I wouldn't buy one. If I magically won one or got it for free, I'd probably use it every day though.

Cass was there but I'm pretty sure she was fighting a different cluster of guys at the time. Maybe it was some kind of friendly fire accident? I've had the same thing happen with him. I usually just turn third person kill cams off altogether when I have a follower so I don't have to keep flashing back to those radscorpions a mile back they just refused to leave be.

Spoiler That was a really silly episode, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure that scene with The Doctor dueling Robin Hood with a spoon will go down as a classic.

I blew a guys's head off in Fallout New Vegas today. A chunk of his skull went spinning off a few feet away and hit another NPC in the head with such force that it seemingly caused his head to also explode. I'm pretty sure that's impossible, but I couldn't figure out where another source of damage could have come from that would have killed the second guy. I wasn't even firing at him or using a weapon with much spread at the time. From where I was standing, a gib just smacked him in the face and his head popped. Definitely a WTF moment.

I think you dream to some degree every night. Most of them you just don't remember.

I'd be down to try it. It'd probably be good to get a group together on mumble or something.
