How are people handling the minigun nerf? IMO a nerf was a decent idea in theory but it seems like they just weakened the class instead of changing his skill floor/ceiling very much, which is one of the biggest issues with the class. If anything, it seems to encourage more mindless spam.

Fucking of course they put me on the team that's in last place.

I want to see someone backstab a team conga line.

The new weapons look pretty neat, although it would probably be better if the Classic did less than -10% bodyshot damage. Doesn't seem like much of a deterrent for a no scope rifle. Time to reinstall TF2, I guess.

Two small observations: 1. That "KFC girl" model is kind of fucking terrifying. 2. Is Pauling's VA the same one who voices Zoey? At times they sound kinda similar.

Meh. I could switch around some stuff that would maybe get a better review, but I feel like it's a cop out to do so just to try and get Raz points. I wasn't trying to get a better review. If I remember correctly Raz isn't even that fond of Bastion. I just don't think I should have a game on my list that I have reservations about, like how Minecraft was better in its early development. Bastion? Really? That surprises me.

If we're getting a bread monster boss mode I will absolutely come back to TF2. Also, that short was really enjoyable but I couldn't help but wonder where the it falls in the current canon. Apparently the team is still fighting BLU, so it can't be after the events of MVM, right?

I should probably also mention that Antichamber was an honorable mention for me. It was between that and Portal 2 for the "weird puzzle game" spot, but if we're talking recommendations I feel like Antichamber is a good follow-up to Portal/Portal 2, rather than a game I would introduce right off the bat.

In no particular order: Portal 2, for the mindbending puzzles, sharp writing and top notch voice acting/music/sound design. Everything, really. The Walking Dead, for its excellent story and story telling mechanics. Metroid Prime, because I'm not sure the atmosphere it captured has ever been reproduced, let alone done better. Mass Effect 1-3, because it delivers a plot with actual emotional weight and a well fleshed out fictional universe in a AAA package, making for a truly epic space opera trilogy. Batman: Arkham City, because everyone should get to be Batman once.

What time do you usually get on, if ever? We could meet up and trade, or you could just leave a chest of it somewhere.

If anyone out there has a bunch of nether quartz they don't need, I could definitely use it. I need a shit ton for a project I'm doing and it's a pain in the ass to get in large quantities.

Interested to see how comp players will handle this whole amiibo thing. Obviously most tournaments will ban in outright, but it could be neat to have a division centering around player + amiibo stuff. Considering you can customize their moveset (some moves not being typically available for a human/CPU player to use, I'm assuming), train them to play a certain way and improve their capabilities, there might be some really interesting pairs and combo strategies that comp players could put together and I want to see that shit.

They announced it was coming out for PC, I don't know if there was any word about it being on Steam specifically until now. As for having a PC that can run it, that's another matter. I think I can run it, the question will be whether or not I can run it well. Probably time to start saving for some new hardware.

I'd pay for DLC if I started playing again regularly. ... then again, I don't want to be spending money right now. Meh. I'll just wait for KF2.

I also highly recommend his newest album Yeezus. Pretty much the yin to MBDTF's yang. It's everything that the last album wasn't - crass, minimalist and abrasive - but it's also a masterpiece in its own right. Throwing in Good Kid M.A.A.D City because that shit was one of the best rap albums of last year. Also, Piñata by Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, even if just for Madlib alone. Probably one of the best rap albums of this year.
