Though I guess I can't fault you for picking something so iconic.

Mostly because it's got some really decent blueprints to model from online, and because I've got an airsoft model of one. 

Initially I tried to model a fairly obscure Russian gun but the only blueprint I could find was really low res which made the edges pretty hard to judge. 

I'm working on my blockout at the moment. I chose to do a desert eagle because I own an airsoft model of one, and I found some very good blueprints for one online.

This is my first proper model, and is VERY much still in progress, most obvious right now in the grip, and the fact that a lot of the gun is missing. But I'm having fun and thought I would share.

It's not as if you're planning on running workstation applications anyway, for gaming a CPU isn't something you want to focus that heavily on, VERY few games will reach a CPU bottleneck with even with  4 cores/threads clocked at something like 4GHz.

New desktop build and I got a boom arm and shock mount for my mic, which I've cleverly attached to a cable routing hole in the top left of my desk, I'm unreasonably proud of doing that.

We're probably going to do another round of deathmatch fun later tonight, probably like a couple hours from now. Add Phoenix#26383 on EU if you're interested in playing.

Yeah, Paero really likes the fractal r5 though, so I didn't want to fight him too much on that. I won't be overclocking his CPU very hard though anyway, he can always upgrade to liquid cooling at some point and put a 360 rad in the front anyway.

I thought RAM generally played quite well with Ryzen these days, since they've sorted out the teething problems with the platform?

But they've finally worked out how to think about balance changes more or less correctly.
