I've got every DLC because Gold Edition is amazing. Except for Brave New World. It's pretty expensive, and I really only want the X-Com Troops. Protip - Shrines are quite possibly one of the most important things to build in the early game. Get it fast in your capital. Also, for your first few times playing, make sure that the land size is on Tiny or Small. This cuts down on the grinding aspect of the game and allows you to expand much faster. Also, if you manage to cram in 5 or so Civs into that small of a landmass, you will find them much faster and the interesting part of the game gets on really quick. If you can, get a religion out as soon as possible. It will be useful as a diplomatic weapon, along with giving lodsahappiness to your people. Just found your own religion and get it out to all your cities. Once you start conquering other places, bring them out to the rest of the world. To easily embark on your journey of military domination (not recommended right now), you should focus on getting sailing fast if you aren't the Polynesians. Sailing is extremely useful for transportation of troops and I personally use it for getting pretty much anything around. Otherwise, build roads everywhere. If you have any form of influence in a place, build a road to it.

Strange. This did happen to me before, and as the paranoid person I am, I made a completely new email, but this one being a disposable one that had a similar name/pass and I linked it to my hacked Gmail as a verification method. Then I made a new Gmail that was linked to the disposable email. Afterwards, I deleted the disposable email to ensure that the trail ends there. Also, check the IP for what region it is. Mine when it was hacked corresponded with a Chinese city. I assumed it was some scriptkiddy or at worst someone trying to set up a botnet. In your case, the 2-step verification was most likely disabled when the person got access. Now, go into your settings and make sure EVERYTHING is right. Make sure the email is all encoded with HTTPS and make sure that the emails aren't getting forwarded to an unknown address automatically. Read through this SteamRep thread concerning Email Security.
