Arm the Homeless replied to Guy923's topic in Current Events, News & Politics
I can see all the pirates heading into free-wifi hotspots like Starbucks or McDonalds so they don't have to take the blame for piracy. Heh. -

Bard's Tale I: Tales of the Unknown was a PC game originally for Apple II. This was highly successful and was later ported to many other systems like the Commodore Amiga, Commodore 64, and the NES. Today, I would like you to join me on my journey through Skara Brae. We will be playing the NES version (that is until I can figure out how to emulate the Amiga) In Bard's Tale, there can be a maximum of 6 party members with some additional extra members kept at the Adventurer's Guild. You must save Skara Brae from evil (original plot right?). In the NES version, things are limited and much smaller than the original PC versions. There are no diverse races and simplified classes. Of the classes, you can choose Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Bard, Sorcerer, or Wizard. Warriors use most weapons and armor. They are also strong and vital Hunters can use fewer weapons and armor. Are fairly strong and vital Rogues are very agile and lucky; can use even less weapons and armor than Hunters Bards are well balanced, lucky characters. Their songs help the party Sorcerer intelligent and agile. They mostly do support magic and can use few armors/weapons Wizard intelligent and agile. They mostly do combat magic and can use few armors/weapons I will play as the Game Master and I will control the game and aid/kill you all on your adventures in Skara Brae. As a gift, I reward you a map for your willingness to venture out into the unknown. This map will be useful to know where you are going at all times. Now let us begin our adventure at the only place fitting: the Adventurer's Guild! What do you do?
