Wot I Think: Day 1 is amazing. An actual massacre followed by even more cops to slaughter. Gets even more hectic if you split up to cook and also set everything on fire. Blow the lab for extra pyromaniac fun. The core of the actual day is when you find the hidden safehouse underground and try to trace the mobster's place. Basically you have a shitton of crates you have to open up, each having a specific item (like missiles, fur coats, or meth ingredients). The map tells you where the different products come from, so you need to try to input all the barcodes from the packages that correspond to the town Bain tells you. Then you go out and somehow all fit in a DeLorean. Day 2 is something else though. You literally are Solid Snake and hide in boxes, with all the mobsters somehow not noticing guys in military grade kevlar and fully loaded. But either way, you get out and beat up some people and try to chase the mobster as he uses his shitty elevator to get to his apartment. The actual building is a fucking maze though. Once you eventually get to the top, he locks himself in his vault and you have to open it up. But cops and a fucking attack helicopter firebombs you as you try. Eventually you open it up and get to kill him, who has 3000ish health and is armed with a KSP. Also, the faster you get up to his apartment, the more coke you can leave the place with.

I'm so sorry. It's ok as long as you try to stay as close to New York as possible. Plus, I live in a small town, so it's decent enough -

My knowledge of firearms is limited to safety, identifying firearms based on basic shape, and parts. East Coast usually tries pretty hard to keep the guns away especially NJ. -
Then don't play tactical shooters. They exist for the reason of not being Quake.

These fucking ones. Old Spice, Cheese Sandwich, Macho Man, Nigerian Prince, and Bohdi's Vault Repair are too good.

DrEvilBrain's Shitty and Maybe Not-So-Shitty Art

I tried to draw the two Keion guitars. Yui - Gibson Les Paul Spoiler Azusa - Fender Mustang Spoiler Don't really like how the Gibson ended up since I was using a duller pencil. The neck and pickguard especially didn't end up too well. Though part of it can be the fact that I play on my dad's Stratocaster, so I am pretty familiar with the basic shape of Fenders. -
Still need to watch the original. I'll do it after Toradora since it's a quick one.

We have our briefcase. Time to be a useless fuckwad on lobbies, wielding only the briefcase, with the name of "Matt", all while screaming "HAHA FOOLED YA GUYS" and "IM SHOT IM SHOT" whenever I'm downed.

Dammit I keep forgetting to watch that and it died with my old computer You know, I would say it's a series worth watching and keeping. Just like Haruhi. On another note, there was an /a/ thread on 8chan about Rebellion's ending and an Anon brought up something pretty interesting. Spoiler "Destroying a God" is not inherently wrong. Don't apply Christian conception of a God to something that has nothing to do with it. She merely destroyed a prison for Madoka's sake - she kept her promise. She also gave everybody a new, human, free, normal life. "Physical manifestation of universe-ending evil" is hardly right. She just feels she's undermined something holy and immaculated and therefore calls herself evil. That doesn't mean she is. And "Universe-ending"? Because she removed QB from the cycle? You honestly sided with an alien who thought slaughtering girls for the sake of prolonging an already trillions-year-long lifespan was a good idea? Seriously, if you could not see the movie was all a play around Madoka's mom words you must be blind or something. Just because i'm nice, they were "If your friend keeps hurting herself by always doing the right thing, you should probably do the wrong thing for once.".

One day, I'll finally be able to upgrade from my half broken DS Lite up to whatever 3DSi XXL 7 analog sticks that Nintendo's going to be making.

You know, I never really thought about it that way, but it definitely wouldn't be the first time Japan has been looking back on WW2. A lot post-apocalyptic writing is based on a world after an alternate WW2 or nuclear warfare or whatnot.

That's actually Hiroyuki Sawano. I assume you're talking about Blumenkranz, Bauklötze, and Vogel Im Käfig. Just from quickly gleaming over some of people's thoughts, I can already tell that people are pretty angry over mispronounced German. Now, I'm not highly educated in music (but my dad's a music major) or the German language, but I do know that German doesn't sound like that at all. German to me has always sounded choppy, unlike languages I'm familiar with. Why they've chose German specifically could be once again for emotional emphasis. But, I can at the very least say that the lyrics themselves probably wouldn't fit well with the tempo and rhythm had they been pronounced right. Maybe, maybe not. I'm sorry I can't really give a good answer, but background music is always meant to capture an emotion. The usage of lyrics just helps for that. Whether it's the actual meaning or just the sound of the language that emphasizes it is up to the composer. The way I see it, language is a barrier only those who understand can pass through, but music is universal, whether or not you understand how instruments work, musical notation, or meanings of lyrics. Germany has always been a country with a very militaristic past. One must only look at the various Germanic kingdoms, the Northern Renaissance, Holy Roman Empire, and both World Wars. If anything, I would say that the German language captures the essence of war and battle in those songs. They could have easily have used another language, but then they would be treading on new lyrics for musical reasons.

I fucking love music and am mainly exploring art and music via anime, but still haven't seen much anime at all. So if you could just give me a list, I'd check them out

Well, that was actually pretty interesting to read, but there's one thing I do want to bring up. The composer for Madoka Magica, Yuki Kajiura, was raised in Germany up until middle school. However, this is all irrelevant, because the actual lyrics of the songs themselves are a mix of Latin, various European languages, and Japanese. The words have no meaning whatsoever. This pattern reoccurs throughout the entire OST, with tracktitles being in Latin from my little knowledge of it. Why this was used would probably be for the effect of your imaginary language surpassing human knowledge, and instead being entirely emotion driven. She could have easily made a song with Latin or German or whatever lyrics with a meaning, but instead, she deliberately chose to compose entire OSTs with a fake language. This is probably most prevalent in Sis Puella Magica out of all songs. The thing is that this method of capturing emotion via a different language has been used to the same effect, but with actual languages. In Sora no Woto's Servante de Feu, you have an actual song with French lyrics. But honestly, the meanings don't matter, but rather the emotion that the language captures. In other news, I love music too much and keep getting OSTs for shows that I finish.
