Would you use a subSPUF Mumble?

Neat. Looks like I'll be hanging around there whenever I feel like talking to peeps and not in the FastCo. mumble. -
Wow, it's like I'm really browsing bigSPUF. "Waahh, I don't like the game anymore. Ded game." - This (and every other 'TF2 iz ded' pessimistic circle-jerk) thread in a nutshell. I'll pass, thanks.

Thanks Huff. If you ever come back to TF2 (wich would be like a week I'm sure) I'll be sure to give you your Billycock back.

I interpret as saving the best for last. Also, new Flamethrower for Pyro teased on the second page.

TIAM IV: Guydiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Cockmongler
John Caveson replied to Raison d'être's topic in General Discussion
His dankness became too much for the world to handle, so God took away hid weed. RIP Verumae. -
Is that Billycock Vintage or Unusual? I'll take it either way, but it would be nice to know. If that's taken, then I'll take the beep boop set. Also, aren't we overreacting a bit here?

From I'm understanding. Enemies drop medium ammo packs, similar to a server plugin I've seen. That replaces the weapon as the ammo you gain for cloak and stuff. The current active weapon for the one killed is dropped, for example, a Pyro with his Flare Gun out would drop a Flare Gun. Now another Pyro coming along with the Scorch Shot and sees a Flare Gun on the ground, he can now switch out his Scorch Shot for the dropped Flare Gun, and the Scorch Shot is dropped. However, a Scout can't come along and pick it up, since he can't carry the Flare Gun. There's also some speculation that you keep your Uber percentage between switches, but I don't think that's the case, as that would be broken. Still, update comes out tomorrow, so this is all just speculation until then.

TIAM IV: Guydiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Cockmongler

Yea, but it's that disgusting warm rain and it just ups the humidity, which makes the heat worse than just the dry heat. -
Finally got around to writing a new chapter. Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to leave feedback. SE 01 CH 07 To the Scene of the Crime Location: Eternal Interior, Hyperspace

Was streaming Rise of the Empire for SWBF2 on Twitch earlier and struck up a convo with Moose about the new Battlefront. Here's the bulk of it. I mention stuff like Galactic Conquest ( I beleive it was during the Utapau mission) earlier but you'll have to go through the full stream to see that, sorry. I archived it at least.

The Hyper Drive Edition is the remake of the original, you know, better graphics and distinct artstyle, improved gameplay etc.

I finally have my own Twitch channel now. I'm going to stream the SWBF2 campaign to hype myself up for the new one coming this November. You guys are welcome to join in and discuss your thoughts. http://www.twitch.tv/sirjohnsonofcave Check out my Steam group for announcements for whenever I stream again. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/JCLEG

Depends on the augments. But, I have yet to notice, probably because I'm not experienced enough, but I do seem to have gotten better after understanding the basic mechanics, but that's probably due to my experience with shooters in general. So it's inconclusive. Either way, it doesn't take long to get your first Bronze card. I would just grind case drops for Lead/Iron drops to craft the Bronze merc you want.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/333930/ Seems really fun. It just got out in open Beta and is F2P. From what I've hearing there's no P2W, but I've yet to test it out myself. It's a class based FPS that focuses on Teamwork and objectives rather than DM, and puts emphasis on fast-paced action (or so I'm told). It has ADS, but hip-fire is very accurate at everything except long range, so there's that. The game seems to focus on difficulty curve and no hand-holding, but again it remains to be seen for me. The aim of the game is to complete objectives, whether setting up/defusing bombs, destroying railways, escorting packages, etc. while also killing anyone who stands in your way. Before a match starts, you can choose up to 3 mercs to choose from in battle, which an extra layer of strategy. All the different mercs have different abilities and loadouts to choose from and certain ability items/moves to use. So far the game has two gamemodes with support from 5v5 to 8v8: - Objective: Offense tries to complete an objective while defense tries to stop them within the time limit. - Stop-watch: Kind of the same as Objective (Offense tries to complete objectives while defense tries to stop them, but the goal here is to get far as you can until the watch runs out and then take turns and see who can get the farthest. Similar to L4D Versus mode. As far as advanced mobility goes, it seems certain certain classes at least have some sort of advanced mobility like parkour or wall-climbing or something like that. But nothing like rocket jumps or whatever. I haven't had any time to test it but if anyone who's played it can confirm what's going I'd appreciate it. It looks damn fun.

Ok so the Loadout Cards are basically what the title suggests, entire loadouts for the different Mercs. They are completely randomized by primary, secondary, and melee weaponry as well as up to 3 random "augments" or little perks and buffs to your Merc. They come in one of 8 qualities (from most common to least): Default: Each Merc starts out with these, 0 Augments Lead: Random loadout + 1 Random Augment Iron: Random Loadout + 2 Random Augments Bronze: Random Loadout + 3 (MAX) Random Augments Silver: Random Loadout + Skins + 3 Random Augments Gold: Random Loadout + Skins + 3 Random Augments Cobalt: Random Loadout + Skins + 3 Random Augments Obsidian: Random Loadout + Skins + Special Title + 3 Random Augments As you can see, anything Bronze and above are functionally the same, and are basically Bronze quality+ with only cosmetic benefits. You can get them in one of two ways, opening Equipment Cases/Elite Cases that you can find randomly or buy with in-game currency (or real world money in the case of Elites) and crafting or "Trading Up". Equipment Cases are cases that you can get dropped randomly after a match or bought with in-game currency and don't need a special key to open. You have a chance to get any quality except Obsidian or Default through this method and they decrease chance by rarity with Lead being the most common at 65% chance and Cobalt being the rarest at .1% chance from a normal case. Elite Cases are special cases that you can only get with real-world money (of which you get two if you get the Starter Pack) . They are guaranteed to give you at least Silver quality cards with increased drop rates for both Gold and Cobalt. Trading up works similarly to the CS:GO system where you craft 3-4 cards of the tier below the card you are trying to craft plus an in-game currency transaction fee that increases with rarity. This system allows a bit more control over what you get, as you can choose the specific Merc you want to trade up for, however the loadout and augments are still completely random. You can only get Iron-Gold level cards with this feature however. As far as Special qualities go: Default: You cannot craft or uncase these as they are Default. (duh) Lead: Can only uncase from Equipment Case drops, other than that, they are crafting fodder. Cobalt: Basically the Unusuals of this game. You can only get them through Cases with only a .1% chance of dropping (5% with Elite Cases) Obsidian: Only available during special events or promotions, such as participating in the Closed Beta or being a "Founder" (which I assume as being a Splash Damage employee) and will have a special title that comes along with them, such as "Beta Tester" or "Founder". They cannot be obtained in any other way as for as I know. There, hope this helps.

Here's my tier list for E3 this year: 1.) Bethesda Any company that manages to get me interested in franchises I previously didn't care about get an A+ in my book. I genuinely now want some Fallout games and Dishonored in my library. I already got Doom so that's covered. 2.) Microsoft I gotta say, Microsoft is really pulling their shit together here, I'm actually kind of stoked and ALMOST want an XBONE because of it. Give me online gaming for free and I'm sold Microsoft. 3.) PC The PC show was pretty solid for their first run (and super long). But I wish there were more big names out their instead of all the Indie devs appeared, particularly Valve. If Gaben or a Valve employee came on stage to talk about what they are doing, this would instantly be #1. 4.) Nintendo Not much going on with Nintendo this year. I mean, their Direct event was quirky, humorous, and cute, but the only things that got me interested were the new Stair Fax and the Mario Maker thingy. Pretty meh overall. 5.) EA The ONLY reason why EA wasn't in the trash bin is because of Battlefront, nothing else. Fight the good fight DICE, don't disappoint me. 6.) Ubisoft and the rest Didn't really care enough to watch the rest and Ubisoft can suck my cock. Though I heard Square Enix finally made a straight up Kingdom Hearts sequel, so there's that. My wishlist for gaming so far based on what was shown at E3: Bethesda: Fallout 4, Doom 4, and Dishonored 2 (all PC or PS4) Microsoft: Gears of War 1 remaster for PC, possibly Gears of War 4 (I need more gameplay footage before I start judging), and Halo 5 (I'll need an XBONE for the latter two) Nintendo: Star Fox 0, Mario Maker EA: Battlefront for the PS4 Overall, a pretty solid E3 I must say. Way better than last year, that's for sure.

I got the Starter Pack which gives you 50k credits and 5 mercs, as well as two Elite cases which are garaunteed Silver or above quality loadout cards. His favorite merc was Arty, so I thought it was funny. Trading system for Dirty Bomb when?

Got this at my local Gamestop. They must be stocking them to hype up Battlefront 3. Needless to day, I fell for it.

How is this a complaint. Battlefront has literally always been a Battlefield clone. At least complain about something actually terrible like lack of space combat. No need to be an edgy memer. I'm still hyped as shit for the game. I might even pre-order for the PS4. I don't care if I'm giving EA my money, they found my weak spot, dammit. Personally, I think DICE should just do what several 2nd-party devs have been doing and branch off of EA and do their own thing. They make great games, it's just EA gets their grubby little hands on the things and slime it all up. They have yet to reveal more than what's seen in the trailer, EA's website for the game shows, and even teases more to come to the game as time goes on. Calm down.
