It seems that Steam is having having a "Back2School" promo with Steam Wallet cards....or is it? Now one of my steam friends gave me a link, I clicked on it and it didn't ask me for credentials or anything, it just said "Here's your unique link, spread it to everybody you know and gain points, gain enough points, and win Steam Wallet codes." WARNING: This seems fishy as fuck and too good to be true. The site itself is not even an official Valve site. I have a strong feeling this is illegitimate, it would probably require you to put in personal info in order to get your "codes". I wouldn't bother with it. Jumping right after shooting bybassed the delay and made you instantly unscope. No other movement did this and thus, it's an exploit/bug/glitch/whatever.

In my eyes it's just Valve fixing an old exploit/glitch that shouldn't have been there in the first place, and not 7 years. I don't care whether it was balanced or made Sniper "more skillful" or not, an exploit is an exploit and should be fixed, unless otherwise officially stated by a dev, any exploit is fair game to remove, no matter how long it's been in the game. People shouldn't expect to abuse exploits and glitches and not expect them to be fixed at any moment. As far as "balance" goes, all this does is sniper duels relying more heavily on who shoots who first. Think of it as a duel between two wild west gunslingers, staring at each other as the tension mounds seeing who will make the first shot. Suddenly, one of them scopes in, the other as well, but the first one unscopes just as the other one fires, missing his shot, he then rescopes, taking advantage of the other Sniper's mistake and fires. BOOM! Right between the eyes. The first Sniper taunts in glorious victory over his defeated foe, then the other Sniper respawns and they're at it again. It's this tension and mind games that Sniper duels are exciting for me. I also lol at all the Sniper mains and idiots saying "SNIPAR IZ RUINED 4EVUR" "Lel, Volvo suks at balance" "muh game paze". Seriously if you rely on a crutchy exploit that remedies your mistakes, then you need to get better at the game. Now Snipers will actually have to HIT their targets first, other-wise getting lobotomized by the enemy. "Second scopers" shouldn't even be a valid excuse, if you scope in first and miss your shot, you desrve to die, if the other guy misses his shot too, that just means you're both terrible. That's the point high risk/reward, duh. Besides, they'll adapt and get over it in a couple days and everything will return to normal.

For those of you who don't know, Google recently bought Twitch for $1 billion dollars. But, just like YouTube, they are cracking down on "copyrighted content" and are taking down or at least muting A LOT of streams, particularly since a lot of Twitch streamers are gamers who stream with music in the backround.
