Well, FastCo. has a ompetetive server for scrims and PUGs and stuff, if you need a place to go, then ask either me or Moose to ask Sleight to borrow it. As long as it doesn't fall on one of their PUGs or matches or something. AAAHHH! The stuttering, it hurts so much. Also isn't Heavy+Medic banned in leagues? I know it's TF2Center and all, but you'd think they would run a plugin to disable Heavy when Medic is around.

Honestly I can see B.A.S.E. jumper being useful only on RED for Degroot Keep for not taking fall damage from walking off the castle. But there is a way down, just not many people use it. Other than than, it's just for shit's and giggles. Then again for Soldier, you're only other options are the banners, and for Demo the booties so...

Welp, back to Scottish Resistance being useless I guess... Sad to see they reverted it so quickly though. I wanted to see if people could get used to it and find strategies, but whatever, cave in to kneejerk reactions, see if I care. They could of at least just tweaked it a bit, instead if just reverting it. Though they said they're looking into it, so I guess it'll be back in some form or another.

Just played with the Scottish Resistance a little bit today. It was actually pretty fun. Thinking defensively and tactically, putting up traps, and denying enemy stickies, instead of just spamming stickies. Always brought a smile to my face when I bait a scout or something into one of my traps. Has great synergy with the Loose Cannon. Quite effective on 5CP maps so far, though I've yet to test it on other gamemodes though. Though I'd imagine it'd be pretty darn good on RED in Payload and A/D maps as well as taking out sentries on BLU. As for other symmetrical gamemodes, I don't quite know. I'd imagine on Pipeline it's nothing but defending your side of the map. as For Hightower, I think it would be pretty shitty, too open and small to setup good traps, aside from spawncamping and taking down sentries on the ramp area. Same scenario as Pipeline for CTF maps: defend your side. KOTH would be great for defending the point and chokes, similar to 5CP but smaller, oh and spawncamping . Can't wait to try it out. But my first day of college starts tomorrow and I need sleep.

hugthebed/wicket on bigSPUF seems to play TF2 only to find silly exploits. He was the one who also found out how to crash servers with a spray, as well as how to targeturn even after they removed it (but before they removed it for real this time and added the Turner) How would someone find the time to do that in a normal game?

Maybe we can buff the turning rate on the other shields. Not to Tide Turner levels but at most half the rate. It would at least make the other shields a viable choice with their own upsides and indirectly buff the Booties (though I would just put the charge regen on kills attribute on that instead of the Turner). Then it wouldn't be a clear choice. Targe for defense. Screen for offense. Turner for mobility. That would be interesting.

Ugh, fuck MvM. Wave 4, Bavarian Botbash, Mann-Up. I'm slightly irritated that we are on our third retry of the wave. Suddenly, just before we have to start, Argeon has to leave (no ill will to him, he has stuff to do, understandable), but right when the bots appear I crash. I restart the game click *Play Co-Op* then this message appears: "Cannot connect to game coordinator. Please try again in a few a few minutes. :troll:" I restart and try again. Same message. After that I just lose it. I rage to Icecubes about the whole thing in chat after that. I was just so pissed off. It took us an 1 1/2 hours to get to Wave 4., and I just wanted the mission to be over, as I hate Rottenburg (for several reasons). I'm more calm now though. From now on I think I'm just gonna solo queue unless you guys want to organize a Two Cities run. Speaking of which, to those who do organize em like Binary and such. You guys are saints. I don't how you guys put up stressing over stuff like this. Seriously, to me it ain't worth it unless you actually complete the mission, at least you get something out of it, so you tolerate it. That's the main downside of MvM for me, it's a huge time sink considering the average perfect mission takes like 45 minutes. It's seriously not worth it unless you get something out of it, even with friends. So ends my little rant. If you guys are planning on playing any of the Two Cities missions (besides Escalation) then let me know. I'm done organizing MvM games, it's just not worth the stress. I've got enough to worry about.
