If this were a fiction and you're the fresh young new-recruit protagonist, I'm either (a) your eventual rival who you defeat at the end of the game, ( someone who disappears mysteriously to clue you in that this is a horror film and everything is not as it seems, or © a foil to indicate how you as protagonist differ from every other new arrival.
