I wonder what the ratio of water to fish pee is in a lake/river/ocean.

Also, chances are that the water you drink was once in someone's bladder. Maybe it's someone you know. Maybe it's your mom's.

An atom on the end of your nose was once an atom on the tail of a T-Rex.

    >Gabe Newell walks out from left stage as slowly and casually as possible. He's wearing a large coat.

    >He centers himself on stage. He looks not at the crowd, but through them.

    >Absolute silence aside from Gaben's husky breathing coming from his clip-on mic which is slightly too close to his mouth.

    >He reaches into his coat pocket.

    >From the pocket is produced a CD which is plain-looking in all aspects...

    >...Except for a small "3" written near the top.

    >Gabe casually tosses it to the ground in front of him, still breathing raggedly.

    >He pulls something out from inside his coat.

    >It's a crowbar.

    >He starts furiously smashing the CD to bits and pieces with the crowbar.

    >Still absolute silence, but the gaze of the audience is one of sheer horror.

    >The CD is no more. Gaben drops the crowbar at his side with a metallic clang, and walks off stage.

Even that's probably too much effort.

I've been in that state for a while.  I came to terms with it by only buying games on big sales (or games that I planned to play immediately), and reasoning that having a large library meant that when I did feel up for playing a game I could get instant gratification in whatever genre I felt like playing at the moment.  Still does feel stupid to have over 50 games on GoG that I've never even installed (though to be fair, several of those were obtained for free or in packs with stuff that I have played).

I haven't actually bought a game in ages, I think the last 30 or so games I've acquired have been free games or my brother unloading Humble Bundle codes on me.

I actually played a Need For Speed demo thing on an Xbox at the local tech store. The person playing before me was getting frustrated because he couldn't work out how to go forward. Firstly the game was set to manual (and pressing every button didn't give me any idea how to change gears) and secondly acceleration was on the back trigger button. After I set the game back to Automatic, I found that really hard to get used to, every other console driving game I played had A (or X for Playstation) as the acceleration button.

    Was weird.

No, having to go through the payment process alone is bothersome enough for a lot of people to never try a game, even a 1 cent payment would probably hold just as many people back as a €5 paymenr

Might also mean we'd have less pay to win games though and higher quality overall?

Have you even seen my Medic costume? It's not that great.

In other news, I am beginning to wonder why I bother existing. Why ask me to build a product for you if you're going to get your friend to completely change it anyway? I'm constantly asking clients if they are happy or unhappy with what I am doing, I am constantly looking after them, but no clearly what I'm doing is not good enough even though they CONSTANTLY FUCKING TELL ME that they love working with me and that I do exactly what they want.

    WHAT AM I DOING WRONG.

  6. I have every Warframe now. Time to do a billion invasions and fissures to get the components to make all these damn Grineer/Corpus/Infested weapons.

    Fuck Mutagen Masses.

Still occasionally wonder if there's a color or something really fundamental that I perceive differently from everyone else and the only thing that has stopped me from noticing is that I haven't brought it up to someone

We all see colours differently anyway. Things like RGB colours and Pantone books are just an agreement on how you make each specific colour, but we probably don't all see Pantone 872C the same way.

  8. The ability to always plug USBs and other assorted items in the right way on the first try.

The ability to do the dishes with telekinesis.

The power to always have a tissue on hand just before you or someone needs it.

If I recall correctly, Kinzie was a dev's personal waifu he shoved in and that's why she's so weird.

That sucks. I found her somewhat annoying in SR3, didn't like her in SR4 and I refuse to touch her in Gat out of Hell because she squawks and screeches and I can't stand listening to it.
