You still on combat then? All the rogues I've been following said before launch to go assasination, but now they're all saying combat is better as soon as you have more than 1 target because of the low ramp up time on blade flurry. I've geared for Assassination either way because I've geared more towards it than Combat.

Because they're at a weird position of not being an arena shooter, but not being a tactical shooter. I can't think of anything close to the gap CoD fits in (bar Battlefield, but it's nearer the tactical end of the spectum) and because it's so big nothing else can enter the market.

Ultra Street Fighter IV (the most recent edition of the SF series) is on sale for 40%, for that price it's extremely worth it. Would definitely recommend picking it up, it's the best entry into Fighting Games and while the first few hours are difficult because of learning how stuff works, it's one of the most fun games I've played in ages. If anyone picks it up I'd be happy to share what little knowledge I have with them Mostly because I only have 1 friend that plays please help I am so lonely...

I can definitely see the appeal of BC/Vanilla, they were rough around the edges, "harder" (or more inconvenient) and the lore surrounding them was more established. But I do think that the game's in a better place now in relation to the rest of the MMO industry. Despite the colossal amount of lore surrounding warcraft, you cant expect Blizzard to dump a large part of it every expansion (and just because they do doesn't mean it will be as good as the last, see Cataclysm to an extent). Experimenting with the story is a good thing, because it generates extra content and lore that doesn't have to be established in other games or books. Also what you say about it being "hard to play" is simply incorrect. Go look at any boss from vanilla, BC or even WoTLK in some parts and you'll see that the amount of mechanics in newer stuff is significantly higher. The difficulty that BC and Vanilla had was because of having to do attunements, getting pre raid gear, getting the people together (especially in Vanilla) and ONLY THEN getting through the raid. There were walls you had to surpass to experience parts of the game which didn't involve the skill of you and your raid, just your luck and how much time you had to play. Now this is coming from someone who never played Vanilla, Burning Crusade and never did the Wrath end game, and if I had the opportunity I'd love to play them when they were released. But you can't expect WoW to hold the same mechanics it used to, as other more accessible games would come along and destroy it, just like WoW did to Everquest 1. That's why WoW is successful, it's evolved as the genre has evolved. So I decided to stick on some of the soundtrack whilst playing and doing other shit and it reminded me how good it actually is when it's not just playing as you go questing or whatever. I got through the whole WotLK soundtrack quickly, then moved to BC only to realize it's 10 hours long. Like, that's fucking insane, there was 10 hours of music made 1 single expansion. On a separate note in my guild calendar there's a Highmaul raid up, it's oversigned by 4 people, and 8 of the people currently signed up are warriors. Belf model update. I like them a lot. The male ones look a lot more Elfy than the current Belfs, which are really just pretty humans, and the faces on both are nicer and for male look more aggressive and "hordey" than before. Only concern is that the female models face makes her look like she's 12, and the cheek bones in it aren't as high as the males which doesn't make much sense if they're the same race, and Blizzard knows design like that as shown in the undead remodel. Whatever, still hella happy.
