Right so I'm having a fucking load of audio issues. Essentially if I plug my headphones into the front headphone jack on my PC I only get sound through one ear, and there's a quiet static noise. If I plug my headphones into my front microphone jack and select it on this Realtek Audio Manager thing as headphones, I get sound through both ears but there's still static. If I plug them into the speaker jack on the back of my PC I get sound fine, but my headphones aren't long enough to reach my chair, same thing happens in the headphone jack on the back. If I get a headphone extension thing then I only get sound through one ear when I plug it into the back speaker or headphone jack, but if I put it in the back microphone jack with the extension thing then everything works perfectly. I could just continue using it like this but I'm really fucking worried something's gonna mess up in my PC, what do?
Funnily just yesterday my headset I've used for ages started having a problem where if the volume control thing on the wire wasn't at a specific angle stuff would sound really weird.
