So apparently (very) recently Valve changed Steam's privacy settings so your game-related stats are friends-only by default (here I've already changed it to public). Probably the stupidest thing they've done yet, why the fuck else would anyone be on Steam other than because of the games? Is the Steam ERP scene really that big? I can understand having the option but 1) it should be public by default like profile visibility and more importantly 2) people should've been fucking told about this by something other than an obscure blog nobody really knows about (https://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/announcements/detail/1667896941884942467). This blog's been up as long as a routine and utterly inconsequential KF2 update and has less than twice comments despite being of vastly more importance. Would it be that fucking hard to give everyone a head's up? Just reuse that same shitty green e-mail verification banner you used to nag me with all the damn time.

I always think "Wow they made another one?" then I look at it and realize why I forgot.

Spuflight, which was the default theme, is now unavailable because it's replaced by the Admin theme. On behalf of the Spuflight fan club I request it be brought back.

I don't have anything against VWs or Golfs in general, but that specific one was possessed. And I actually do think it had lock problems too, although that was never really an issue because anyone trying to steal it wouldn't get far.

In a piece of car-related trivia, the Vista Cruiser I spent my early childhood in was sold to a local rapper who allegedly painted it purple and used it for his album cover a decade ago. When I was a real little kid (around 5 or so) my grandpa gave my dad his second generation Golf, and I don't think my dad ever really forgave him for it. That thing was a total piece of shit, it broke down all the time. I remember we went to Mount Rushmore once (and it was foggy when we got there so we couldn't even see the fucking thing) and it broke down there a thousand miles away from home. I don't remember what happened to the thing, I think it just got scrapped.

The kitchen is still being fought over and although they make raids into the bathrooms they do not yet have control of most of the house. As MacArthur said - I shall return (to the kitchen unmolested by rats). After all they cannot possibly replace losses of 3-4 rats a week - right?

I'm pretty sure there's a portal to hell in the kitchen. Spiders of course but they're locals so that's nothing new. But ants? Rats? Stupid bugs that get in grains and shit out larvae in them? I swear at least 30 rats have been zapped by the rat zapper or caught in rat traps - not an exaggeration either - and yet I still see those fuckers all the time and their shit all over the microwave! You really gain a new appreciation for "rat" as an insult after having them. Got half a mind to seal off the kitchen and mix some ammonia and bleach and smoke those fuckers out. Or more likely just get a fumigation team to do that without killing myself.

Metal Gear Survive's beta was actually pretty fun. I'm honestly considering picking it up if it has enough content in it. Yeah yeah I know Konami's a scumbag company but if I only played games by non-scumbag companies I'd probably have literally 5 games in my library.

I don't care if he was waiting for the President to present him his Medal of Honor, if you're gonna join a game at least play and not waste a slot.

I remember having b4nny on my team in a pub match once - fucker was afk for 90% of the game and left early, all while half the server sucked his dick. Frankly I'd rather have some F2P michael.scott02 on my team, at least he'll actually play for more than a minute at a time.

Don't know what a virtual youtuber is but this probably fits the bill, considering he's virtual to me.

Man it can be really fun installing like 60 mods for L4D2 especially since by the time you've installed the last one you've already forgotten the first 30. If you do do this though I highly advise AGAINST the Ugandan Knuckles common infected mod because those fuckers' hitboxes don't change and it gets really bad when you're down and they swarm you and the bodies pile up and you can't tell the living from the dead; I would recommend the Battle Droid common infected mod in its place.

It's Tule fog season here, and I personally enjoy it - some cool fog in the winter is a nice contrast to the 100+ summers. Well, I enjoy it as long as I don't have to go out of town.
