I had a dream where I was playing a game (or more accurately the protagonist of a game) on some asteroid that was being mined and that had suffered some kind of catastrophe. At least I think that's what it was, I know it took place underground in mine shafts but there were also some high tech rooms that showed space outside. The game was kind of a combination of a 3D Fallout and survival horror game. The only place with people in it I remember was some "hub" area that led off in three separate directions. One was the way I came in, a giant room that was pitch black (I don't remember how I got through, probably by feeling my hand along the edge), one was the direction I was supposed to go to progress the story, and the final one was an abandoned mineshaft that gave me a terrifying sense of unease. There were two more shafts that led off from this one that went to the right, and one to the left. At the very back was a sign that said "Danger!" with one of the generic danger signs. There was a bottomless hole between the "hub" proper and the abandoned shaft, about 20 feet long. The only way to get to the abandoned mineshaft was by running along a twisted rail (there was a railway there before something caused the hole to form) then jumping over the last couple feet to get to the other side. Despite the difficulty there were two people on the other side, just generic NPCs from what I could tell. One was standing guard looking down the shaft and the other was patrolling a few yards into the shaft. All I know is that it creeped me the fuck out and I never went further. All I know is that when I reached it and flipped the switch lights came on and everyone left. There was no other person left, I wasn't sure if they had evacuated or what. All I know is I backtracked to the now-empty hub room and saw the giant room I had come through was now fully lit, and was huge, miles long and wide. There was a lot of green shit on the ground, if you've ever played Jak and Daxter and gone to the Lost Precursor City you'd see the water in it changes to a sickly green color every now and then. It was basically that. I remember my HUD said "Research facility 0.5 miles" to the right and "Exit 1.5 miles" to the left. I saved and went to the "research facility" which was a giant windmill with the Playstation buttons at the tips of its blades. Like one was an X, the other an O, etc. Still I didn't seem to be getting closer either visually or by HUD and I eventually walked along a fallen windmill towards the facility. At the end there was a jumpscare where a monster jumped out of the green shit at you, but I wasn't scared at all and kept trying to jump past it to get to the facility. Then I woke up. Better dream than the usual mundane shit at least.

If commander posted "how do i make a thread" in the status feed I'd be fucking concerned, and not because of his race or gender. I still find it fucking amazing how Japan went from one of the most conservative countries in the world to modern day Japan in less than 75 years.
