So basically you just want a hassle-free and safe way of buying shit online. I can understand that, but I don't think a new currency is the right answer. I assume Paero means currencies issued and controlled by a country's central bank. You can buy things with cigarettes, does that make cigarettes a currency on the same level as the dollar or euro? You can also buy things with anything, if both parties agree to the trade. Really, that's all what money is. Something that's accepted as a method of payment. What makes something be accepted? Theoretically, anything. Realistically, fiat money has the faith and credit of the country that issued it. Gold is backed by the understanding that people think gold is valuable. What's bitcoin backed by? If you had a dollar, an ounce of gold, or a bitcoin, which would help you most if shit completely hit the fan? They'd all be equally useless. Prime examples of what happens when currencies do tank? Are you really arguing that hyperinflation/deflation is a normal and good thing? I'm not sure about you, but if my money went through Weimar-era inflation I'd be freaking the fuck out.

Conventional currencies can be easily adapted to be digital. I don't really see the difference in your example. You, for all intents and purposes, own that money in your bank account. Barring a complete and utter financial collapse, in which case the main source of wealth would be food, water, and ammunition. Theft wise, what's the difference if somebody steals your credit card and buys shit before you notice, than if somebody steals your phone, and buys shit before you notice? If they launder it properly it's gone anyway. Most addresses used for crime would probably be temporary anyway.

Not necessarily. There's more reasons to be rejected by a school than below acceptable standards. It's also #20 in world rankings. Univ of Michigan, I mean. So come on. Would you not bet money that she's not going to make it into Harvard? I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm saying it's highly unlikely that you're going to make it to the, arguably, #1 university in the entire fucking world if you were rejected from any other university for any reason. Oh sure they might have a good reason, but if the #20 school's not bending over backwards to take you in I doubt the #1 school would. Especially when you're competing with every child of the alumni and hyper-rich.
