I also recall seeing one in beta that I never played more than once. You were floating around in space (although I think you had magic magnetic boots for walking on surfaces), and had a suit that simulated sound around you to help you identify threats. You could turn off your suit entirely- disabling the thrusters and sound- to turn nearly invisible (space is dark). It's a neat concept that could use expanding upon.
