What is the nicest mouse I can get for dirt cheap
<Witty Name> replied to ICBMoose's topic in Techmoology
Wireless is getting better nowadays, actually. I use a G700 and it's as responsive as any wired mouse. Of course, I dunno how the cheaper end of the spectrum fares. -
I've seen some posts get edited without the edited-by line, but I've not yet figured out how to do that myself.

As an amicus curiae I would like to point out that the courtroom needs some disco tunes playing 24/7. -

Officers will not be indicted in no-knock raid that leaves then-19-month old deformed
<Witty Name> replied to Stackbabbin' Bumscags's topic in Current Events, News & Politics
I agree that we shouldn't freely hands the cops APCs to make donut runs with, but this isn't about regular police. Generally speaking, the police want to play it safe when it comes to unknown situations. As long as things don't go wrong (such as what happened here), there aren't many negative consequences beyond the risk of appearing to use force overzealously. If they're going after someone with a record of illegal firearm possession, then they're not going to send a cop with a baton and taser to knock on the front door. -

Where is the militarization? SWAT teams are equipped to handle situations that regular officers can't- which neccessitates some degree of armament- and in this case the military power they exercised was limited to a can that makes a bright light and loud noise. -

It's unreasonable to sit on old versions of software long after upgrades are available. As commander said, it's necessary for security/stability- old versions fall into disrepair as dev work focuses on newer versions of software, which can cause something that seems perfectly fine to degrade over time.

I roll with the GL40 + Locomotive. Two medkits on the third floor for when the five billion snipers manage to shoot me and some ammo on another floor just to use all the favors. The grenade launcher is great for dealing with the cops as they rappel down, file through doorways, or hide behind the couches. Since everything is at close range save for the snipers, the Loco has no real issues dealing with enemies. Most of the snipers can either be shot or blown up, although the one to the far right is quite difficult to hit with the GL40. I'm currently working on soloing the heist on Overkill, which is quite difficult with all the drill-restarting nonsense. I might just get the tech skills, then restart until I get an auto-restarting thermal drill.
