Don't forget that Kog's Q gives him bonus attack speed, which is seriously nice. I think it's an extra 25% at full level, which is pretty crazy. Combo that with a Blade of the Ruined King and his W and you're a fricking artillery machine gun.

Actually... The dynamic map shows a fairly large mineshaft/stronghold under the island that goes at least part of the way to town. It could be doable.

I really want to try and get a 3DS. Should I just get the base one, or should I splurge and get the XL version?
-
So yesterday I went exploring and I found these two little islands south of spawn-one's completely flat and had some trees and bamboo on it. The other is fairly rugged and has about 10 horses on it. I have claimed both islands and am planning on figuring out some way to breed and export horses to the mainland.

So you know how I said that the asscrack guy got DCI banned for 6 months? According to Brian Kibler's blog, it was actually 18. Like...holy shit.

Let's see here: Top: Pantheon if solo, Teemo if dual Jungle: Fiddle/Kha'zix Mid: Casseiopeia/Veigar Support: Lux (Also for mid as well, but more often than not I play her support) ADC: Kog'Maw

Oh. Yeah, we just kinda do whatever the hell we want...for example, proxy decks are completely okay (within a certain extent-I believe the max price is something like $200?) and the banlist is on a case-by-case basis. Sylvan Primordial's still played by us. So I guess you could say that the power level's fairly high in our group. Also, it's kind of an unwritten rule that you're only allowed to concede if you have to leave the room to go to bed, work or class. So unless you're leaving to go home, you sit there and take your ass-whooping like a man. It's actually pretty fun-makes victories that much sweeter.

I haven't played any Lucian, but I think that the reason Jinx is an insta-lock is because she's one of the easiest champions to play that Riot's released in ages. I'm talking Ashe or Garen levels of easy here. She's got a fantastic kit for new players to understand-her Q gives you different ways to kill/clear minions, depending on what's needed, her W hinders escape or helps you kite, same thing with her E. And her ult is a high-damaging, low cooldown kill secure. She's an incredibly easy champ to pick up, and she's a fairly safe choice too. She hasn't been nerfed to oblivion (cough Irelia cough) yet, and she's still useful in this meta (RIP in peace Kog'Maw, one day I'll be once again able to say that I main you without sounding like a gibbering idiot). Plus, nobody really "hard counters" her. She's just an all-around good champion, really.

Goddamn, that sounds like the perfect place for my Animar deck. My playgroup's meta includes 2 different people who run high-chaos decks (Possibility Storm, Illicit Auction, etc.) and another who runs a Pheldagriff group hug deck with absolutely no win conditions. So we have a TON of random shit happening, loads of boardwipes, and chances are you're going to be recasting your general at least twice a game (Or in the case of my friend's Vorel, something like 16 times. Poor guy kept getting killed). That is, unless your general gets tucked. Which happens to Animar an awful lot. So that's why I made my Erebos deck the way it is-it completely shuts down the lifegain decks (we have an Oloro player, super annoying) and it manages to fly under everyone's radar until I really need to beat a motherfucker down. Unless I'm playing against the Pheldagriff deck, because we found out a few weeks ago that any amount of help whatsoever will cause it to just kill everything. I had one game where I Exsanguinated a 5-person game for 22 with an Exquisite Blood out. Everyone lost 22, I gained 176. Surprisingly, that didn't win me the game. I had to use the Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond combo because Vorel was about to go infinite with his tokens/mana. But yeah...your playgroup sounds fun.

See, he doesn't have any mobility or escapes. But goddamn he can kite almost as well as Ashe. Like, holy crap.
-
Pokemon aren't real. You shut your goddamn mouth.
-
Vel'Koz is super fun-he's very much a high risk, high reward champion. Your abilities don't do much damage on their own-you really need to use them to proc his passive true damage, which is where he really shines. But if you get out of position, or miss a crucial skllshot...you dead, son.

See, I love both versions of Teysa but I can't bring myself to using new Teysa as a Commander. The 7 mana right off the bat is just insane-I'm always a bit iffy about commanders with CMC > 4, to be honest. I tried using old Teysa as a token commander, but that didn't really go so well. I think she *might* have a place in the Karador reanimator deck I'm building, which would make her the second scrapped general to go into that deck, after Saffi Eriksdotter. EDIT: I'm also well aware that Karador's CMC 8, but let's be real here-any self-respecting deck that runs him is also going to run any dredger they can find. I'm gonna have plenty of guys in my graveyard to lower his cost.

Or maybe not. It was on Time magazine's website, but according to Reddit there's nothing in the public DCI ban list that matches it. So nobody's really sure about what's really going on. In other news, I pulled a foil Mogis yesterday. Which makes 2 foil gods from BNG so far, along with a foil Temple of Malice (and 4 non-foil ones). I've had crazy good luck before with my pulls, but this is just ridiculous. Mostly because that pack had a Champion of Stray Souls in the rare slot. That's right-I got a double mythic pack yesterday.

Apparently the guy who posted those pictures got banned from all future tournaments for 6 months...holy crap.
-
Probably gonna hop on later, we can just build pretty much wherever we want, right?

NO WAIT I'M HERE I'VE JUST BEEN LURKING A LOT I play a bit of support, but I'm really, REALLY truly bad at it. Same with ADC. I still just have a horrible sense of when to retreat and when to go all-in on a teamfight. So what I'm really best at is tanky bruisers like Pantheon and Maokai or Cho'Gath, really. Also I just can't jungle. I just can't. If you're thinking of either Lulu or Thresh, Lulu's one of the most fun ARAM champs I've played. You know how most supports are really good there? She's no different. Thresh is...okay in ARAM but he's seriously fun elsewhere. His passive means that if you collect enough souls, you can *almost* ignore getting many AP or armor items on him, which is kinda cool.
-
I somehow reached level 30 a few weeks back by playing almost exclusively bot matches and ARAMs. So that happened...also Pantheon is still one of my favorites. There's nothing quite like man-dropping straight into a team-fight and absolutely mauling everyone. Also, on the topic of pentakills-I've gotten 2 so far. Both were in ARAM, both with Fiddlesticks. He's just brutal there. I completely agree with this week being horrible for ARAM, mostly because of Kog (but seriously, since they got rid of Kitae's Bloodrazor it's been so much more manageable to play against him) but also because of Lux. She's my absolute favorite champion, I love her to bits-but goddamn is she horrible to play against. The only one I hate more in ARAM is Master Yi, who is just broken.

I've read all the books, and it's so hard to not smack my friends who are refusing to read them. Because major shit's gonna go down real soon, yo.

I wish I'd gotten at least one copy of Bitterblossom when they were still $15...I've always wanted to make an Oona tribal faeries EDH deck. Doesn't look like I'd be able to at the moment, since it seems like ALL the faerie staples are skyrocketing in price. Damn it.
-
Oh my god they actually did it. They actually unbanned Bitterblossom and Wild Nacatl. And Deathrite Shaman got the hammer. Holy fucking shit. EDIT: Also, may we have a moment of silence for our dear departed friend Sylvan Primordial, who was struck down by the Commander banhammer earlier this morning as well. He will be dearly missed, not least by Animar and Roon.

So one of the guys I'm friends with on Facebook is incredibly conservative, and not all that smart-not because he's conservative, but because he's just been an idiot ever since I met him, which was like 12 years ago. So anyways, he just made a post saying that he's never going to buy Coke products again because, and I'm quoting him here, "During the new commercial they stomped over one of our nation's songs by doing it in another language." So that happened.
-
He was actually like one of my best friends when I was in third grade, but we've grown apart since then. We don't really talk at all anymore.
-
I don't have a Facebook but considering that since Youtube integrated with Google+ five unrelated people I met seven or more years ago and haven't really talked to since sent me Google+ invites I think I'm starting to get an idea

Damia's absolutely batshit insane, I'd run her if I wasn't so sure that I'd get hated on by everyone at the table immediately. Also I'm set on Mono-black for my next deck. Not quite sure who the general's gonna be, originally it was going to be Seizan, Perverter of Truth. But I'm starting to realize that my playgroup just instinctively shuns any lifeloss whatsoever, regardless of how much card advantage it might give them. So I'm probably going to switch to either Erebos, Ob Nixilis, or Geth instead. Black beatdown with a ton of removal/control. Should be fun. And Thassa's amazing, I pulled one at the Theros prerelease and she features heavily in my Sen Triplets EDH deck. Incredibly good card.
-
Okay, so I know that like...nobody reads this but it's 11 at night and I'm hoping Raz'll see this in the morning. I just had the most AMAZING prerelease ever. So first off, I almost didn't play in the prerelease-I didn't think I could afford it, and I was just going to go and buy some singles for my mono-black EDH deck. But my paycheck came in, and I actually somehow had gotten a raise, so suddenly I found myself with some extra cash. So I ended up going. I chose green for my color because it seemed fun-and I liked the hydra. My pool wasn't all that great-I had a fairly even distribution of cards among the colors, but not many creatures. However, I DID end up pulling a foil Ephara (W/U god) and a Temple of Malice (B/R scry land), so that's cool. I eventually ended up making a R/G aggro deck. I was talking to the guy across the table from me, who took a look at my deck and promptly said that it wouldn't win, as I only had 10 creatures and it was supposed to be an aggro deck. Well...I ended up going 4-0 today. My shitty little deck didn't lose a single game. It was absolutely hilarious. I ended up winning 8 prize packs, out of which I pulled Phenax (U/B god) and hilariously 2 more Temple of Malice's, both of which were in the same pack-one was foil. So yeah...I had a seriously good day. And I bought a ton of awesome black cards for my EDH deck (Necropotence, Phyrexian Arena, etc) so that'll hopefully be up and running soon as well. It was by far the best prerelease I've been to yet.
